Grizzly Adams: The Capture of Grizzly Adams - DVD

Dan Haggerty stars in THE LIFE AND TIMES OF GRIZZLY ADAMS, an adventure/nature series that follows the exploits of an unfairly accused man who chooses to live exiled in the wilderness rather than stand trial for a crime he did not commit. Along the way, he discovers and adopts an orphaned grizzly bear cub that he names Ben. Assisted by an old trader known as Mad Jack and his blood brother Nakoma, Adams and Ben learn to live in complete harmony with nature.

In Yellowstone National Park, grizzlies and other wildlife roam free while the park is preparing for a major rock concert to be held in 3 days. Poachers are hunting for grizzlies and one of the poachers end up killing a cub and wounding it's mother. The grizzly takes revenge killing hikers, a deputy ranger and the poacher who killed her cub.

Less than a year after the of Steven Spielberg's shark blockbuster, director William Girdler (DAY OF THE ANIMALS) and infamous distributor Film Ventures International (GREAT WHITE) brazenly unleashed their own 'JAWS with claws' sensation that would become one of the most successful independent horror films in history. Christopher George (PIECES), Andrew Prine (BARN OF THE NAKED DEAD) and Richard Jaeckel (THE DARK) star in this Inchbloody, sexy and immortal trash classicInch (Mondo Digital) about an 18-foot-tall ursus arctos horribilis on a carnivorous rampage through a state park full of campers, and the ranger, chopper pilot and naturalist who must stop it.
