Hakushi Hasegawa - Honest Feeling Album - Clear/White Smoke Vinyl - VINYL LP

Available on Marbled Smoke Vinyl, Honest Feeling Album is the highly anticipated second album from Tokyo-based composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Hakushi Hasegawa (they/them), and the latest from Flying Lotus' acclaimed Brainfeeder tag. The first Japanese artist signed to Brainfeeder, Hakushi has emerged as one of contemporary music's most inventive voices, fusing jazz, J-rock, electronic music, and avant J-pop into a sound that is both technically dazzling and emotionally powerful. Joined by HaHa & The Hairpins as a full backing band, Honest Feeling Album pushes Hakushi's vision to new heights, featuring standout collaborations from Tofubeats, Lang Lee, Tsukino Mito, and Accorinrin of Otoboke Beaver. Following the international acclaim of Mahogakko, hailed by The New York Times as one of the best songs of 2024 and championed by Pitchfork, The Guardian, The FADER, DJ Mag, Crack Magazine, and The Needle Drop, Honest Feeling Album is a bold, genre-defying statement from one of the most exciting artists working today.
