Q: Can this be used to chop nuts?
A: Yes. Pecans, walnuts and cashews are soft. I would probably just try a half cup at a time so that they would be chopped and not ground. Harder ones would take longer but on that kind I would just do half cup at a time also. You will know how much time and quantity by testing a few kinds.
Q: Can I chop up frozen fruit to make ice cream?
A: Yes you can. If you are using more than one kind of frozen fruit, chop them separately unless they are all of the same size and density. Lighter ones like strawberries do not require much time to chop. Heavier and more dense fruits would require more time .
