This is a older movie that we have not seen and was delighted when I was able to purchase it from BestBuy at a good price so my wife and I can watch it anytime we want.

The restoration job on this movie is unbelievable considering this was filmed on 16mm. Even those this movie is so good, it's going to be very hard to watch it again for fun because of how much it unnerved me. Great special feautures too.

I never heard of this before and came upon it in an article on rotten tomatoes. I agree with most that this movie is a very realistic and scary film. Michael Rooker and his co-star/accomplice in killing give great performances!

It’s dark…and serious…but very brutally entertaining.

Raw, dark, excellently portrayed characters. Not for the faint hearted but well worth the watch. As far as Best Buy is concerned, as advertised, reasonably priced and quick shipping.

I watched this movie years ago (still have it in my collection), and it is one of the most disturbing movies I've ever watched. What makes it so scary is that it shows just how a killer like the one portrayed here can randomly select their next victim - no rhyme nor reason, maybe simply because of the color of the dress - and how easy it is for them to carry out their desires. If this movie doesn't make you start looking over your shoulder and double-checking that your doors are locked at night, then I don't know what will. They ARE out there among us, it's up to you to pay attention. Yes, I would recommend this film; however, it's not for the faint-of-heart.

It’s the matter of fact, impassive observational style that lends the film such a hard-hitting, disturbing edge. Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer is an extreme film that will absolutely not be to many people’s tastes due to the sheer grimness of the subject matter. But for those who like their horror cold, hard and emotionally raw – the film delivers some serious chills.

This movie took me by complete surprise. I read many reviews and it was voted to be a disturbing film. I checked it out and it is just that. The movie is Raw and it keeps your attention as a little mishap turns to huge results.
