Q: How do the sensors control each room’s temperature if you don’t have a zoned system?
A: The system lets you decide which sensor(s) determine when the heating or cooling turns on/off for the whole house. For example, if you have the main thermostat (living room), a sensor in your master bedroom and one in the kitchen, you can tell the system ('prioritizing') to only consider the master bedroom's temperature when deciding if to heat or cool the house. So at night if you want to maintain a temperature of 72degs in your master bedroom, the system will turn on the heat or cool to maintain the temperature in the master bedroom. The temperatures in the other rooms will now be dependent on the master bedrooms temperature, so those other rooms may run hotter or cooler depending on your home. With multiple sensors you can see the temperatures in the others rooms (that have sensors). You can also prioritize multiple rooms. So you can tell the system to main the temperature in the house based on the temperatures in the master bedroom and the kitchen or living room and kitchen, etc. I have been using the system for a few weeks now and it is working great. I actually bought some additional sensors for my home.
A: It is plug and play! Our T6 was on a larger base plate, so I pulled the T6, painted the base plate the color of the wall, let it dry a while and plugged the T9 onto the same wiring harness.
