Bring your photography to a new level with the Hoya 95mm R-72 Infrared Filter, a high-quality, durable, and effective tool for capturing stunning infrared images. Specifically engineered for digital cameras and infrared film, this filter is a must-have for photographers looking to explore the unique and creative world of infrared photography. The Hoya R-72 Infrared Filter operates in the high-red area of the visible spectrum, starting at around 750nm and extending beyond 1000nm. This range of light, invisible to the naked eye, is where the magic of infrared photography happens. When viewed through the R-72 filter, the world appears almost opaque, as the filter only allows light from the very high red edge of the visible spectrum and infrared light to pass through.Infrared photography offers a unique perspective, producing intriguing and sometimes breathtaking results. Objects in a scene reflect infrared light differently than normal light, creating images that are truly one-of-a-kind. However, due to the nature of infrared light, filter factor and exposure compensation can vary widely from visible light and largely depend on lighting conditions. The Hoya 95mm R-72 Infrared Filter is not only easy to use but also versatile, making it an ideal addition to any photographer's toolkit. Whether you're into landscape, nature, or architectural photography, this filter will help you capture images in a whole new light. Experience the Hoya difference with this exceptional infrared filter.
