A must for my 50mm lens. Dust free! Great quality glass

uv filter protects lenses,does a great job as a uv filter and is dust free.

You get what you pay for and I don't skimp on filters to protect my investment in lenses and neither should you. Great quality and a must!!!

May be overkill for my kit lens but it does exactly what I bought it for: protects my lens with no impact on picture quality.

This filter is great!! Glass is invisible! A little pricy but better than cheaper models: i do think that the only filter that can top it off could be a b&w brand wich has heavier metal feels for protected but as far as the clarity the hoya might be better!!!!

I always buy filters like this to protect my lenses and assure that I will get my best photos. This was placed on a new camera. Can't tell if it helps since I never take it off to do a comparison. It's inexpensive insurance for an expensive camera.

Your camera lens needs protection. A lens hood is bulky and a storage problem. A good filter will keep dust, dirt, and fingerprints off your expensive camera pictures.

It actually does seem to repel some of the dust. What's next, water repellent filters? Wouldn't that be great.

A few accessories are important when you love taking good pictures. A high quality lense makes adifference!

Works well with my camera, The UV filter changes the way your picture looks like if have DSLR its must have item. Also the expensive UV filters are made in Japan good quality.

As always I do a lot of research before spending a $1. This is just what I was looking for.
