A: Hi John, thank you for the question. The HP AF809 Shredder has thermal controls and will shut down when the maximum temperature is reached. The duty cycle is 10 minutes of shredding, and 40 minutes of rest.

A: I can't think of a reason paper bags wouldn't work. There isn't a particular one to recommend, as long as it properly fits the bin.
