The 2026 model comes with some really big upgrades, including the biggest one for me—and probably for many other people: the keyboard layout. The previous HP OmniBook X Flip series had, in my opinion, a pretty terrible keyboard layout. I honestly don’t know what HP was thinking with it. Hopefully, they’ve finally fixed that with this generation. On top of that, HP now offers an OLED display even without going for the Ultra model, which is fantastic. The laptop is also lighter, feels fast enough for the everyday tasks most people actually do, and the build quality feels really solid. And then there’s the hinge. In my opinion, this is one of the best 2-in-1 hinges right now. I’ve tried or seen 2-in-1 designs from Dell and Lenovo, and honestly, I think HP has done a better job here. So, if a good, solid hinge is important to you, my top recommendation right now would be the HP OmniBook X Flip.

Wow! This computer has the best image quality I have ever seen on a laptop, vibrant crystal clear, really excellent. Motion handling is good maybe some occasional judder. Build quality is good, I like the aluminum body. Boot up, charging, battery life, touchscreen interface, data transfers speeds are all excellent. Only issues, the mouse cursor stops working when using the touchscreen and mouse track pad together. Also, my keyboard and mouse pad had minor smudges and/or wear marks right out of the box, I tried to clean them but they are still there, no performance impacts.

Overall performance is decent, battery life was ok. The OLED display 2k and their tablet mode are good however you would need to buy a mpp compatible pen as there is no pen included. I had to buy buy one to draw properly in tablet mode

I've had this laptop for a shot while now. It is fast and light and easy to use. I reduced my screen size moving to this laptop and I do not miss the larger screen. The light weight of this laptop makes it easy to go room to room without concern of dropping it. The screen is clear and crisp, processing is fast and efficient. I'm glad I chose to downsize to this laptop.

Bought this laptop for our daughter going to college had the perfect mix of features we needed with longer battery life. Screen is absolutely gorgeous, case feels solid, and keyboard has a numeric portion and is back lit

This sleek lightweight laptop is the perfect upgrade to my prior HP laptop, with great processing speed, sufficient memory, and crystal clear screen presentation.

As a computer the stats might seem a bit underwellning, but it does work quite well if you are using it for things such as college or work. The battery life is pretty good and I'm able to transport it well.

Works great, fast reliable, loads fast, great contrast on colors.

So far all is good. Typical new laptop stuff of things you don't want already preloaded. Opens fast, works well for my work as a professor and basic home stuff. This is not a gaming computer which is great because that is not what I was looking for. I was very lucky on the same price I was able toget it at. Has not been that low again.

I once owned an HP Envy 360, so this OmniBook feels like an upgrade. This laptop is 16 inches in length, so it feels cumbersome, but it feels lightweight. I like the 10 key number pad and the touchscreen. I'm not completely knowledgeable about computers, but I like the OmniBook's ease of use. I primarily use MS Office. I don't like the little HP advertisements that pop up.

I only purchase HP. I currently have a HP Spectre but I had to replace it because it wasn't Windows 11 compatible. I was looking for a replacement that had the same specs. I like how lighter it is than the HP Spectre. The only con is buying adapters for USB and HDMI ports and the HP Pen is separate. All in all the computer is amazing.

I absolutely love my HP OmniBook X Flip! I had been looking for a laptop that could handle school, work, multitasking, and everyday use while still feeling premium and enjoyable to use, and this laptop has exceeded my expectations. The 16" 2K OLED touchscreen is easily one of my favorite features. Everything from working on documents and spreadsheets to watching movies looks fantastic. The touchscreen and 2-in-1 design are also incredibly convenient and make the laptop much more versatile. Performance has been excellent so far. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase. The combination of the OLED display, performance, touchscreen, 2-in-1 design, and premium feel makes this one of the best laptops I've owned. I would absolutely recommend the HP OmniBook X Flip to anyone looking for a powerful, versatile, and genuinely enjoyable laptop!

So far it's an excellent computer, good buy for the price. The only issue it has is that occasionally it reacts slowly to my input. When the computer was sold to me, I was offered Geek Squad service for a significant price but was "promised" that the computer would virtually work like my old one did software wise. I asked specific questions about certain products I had installed and was assured that everything would work just fine,. When I got there to pick it up, the salesman said he would be back in a couple minutes to help me. An hour later he was still with another customer and he was surprised that we were still there but he got another Geek Squad member to help. This new member knew nothing about any of the products I had originally discussed and needless to say, nothing had been installed, they just did a brute force data copy of the stuff that wasn't in the cloud and I had to go home and do everything myself, which isn't easy for a computer illiterate person like myself.

The 2K OLED is bright and sharp. Battery life is solid and it's easy to switch from laptop to tablet though it fit a bit heavy to hold for long as a tablet.

Awesome and the price is fantastic. This computer allows me to do all of my tasks and then some. The speed is great, it is very good product.

Battery life is as expected on a portable with a 2k display, but that display makes up for it if you favor looks. Took some time to debloat the factory software and windows to make the 16gb device practical, but for a budget performance machine you can’t beat it.
