Igor Ardasev & Renata - Slavonic Dances - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

2017 album from the country music singer/songwriter. Kody started playing music in the beginning of 2014 doing acoustic gigs and songwriter competitions all over the Dallas/Ft. Worth area opening for bands, and gaining a following each show for the remainder of the year. One of those bands being the Texas Country/Red Dirt band Dalton Domino and the Front Porch Family band. He became their tour manager at the beginning of 2015 and began touring, working and playing music across the state of Texas alongside them. Kody recorded his first full production EP later that year in Stephenville, Texas with producers Ben Hussey and Josh Serrato. The EP titled Higher Ground released January of 2016 with InchPlaying CardsInch as a single. Shortly after the he had formed a band and they continue to travel around Texas together to play his tunes. Kody's music is a mix of Texas country and bluegrass with some good for the soul grooves. Limited vinyl LP pressing. Originally seeing the light of day as a CD-only in 1994, Shelf-Life was the debut long-player from the excellent Small World Experience, a Brisbane outfit virtually unknown north of the equator. Of course, a bevy of fans prevailed and while the band released a small brace of releases throughout the '90s, Shelf-Life seemed the most unobtainable. Formed in 1987 by DIY enthusiasts Pat Ridgewell (songwriting/guitar/singing, plus often bass on recordings) and Ian Wadley (drums and sometimes bass, guitar), Small World Experience exudes wry, post-pop charms, very much in the spirit of once-upon-a-time Brisbane acts such as Go Betweens, Four Gods and even The Saints. Throw in an affinity for Jimmy Webb, the Monkees' Headquarters album and Ridgewell's own, languid slant on things, and buster, you got yourself one helluva record! Album Tracks 1. S.W.E 2. Get Lost 3. Patience 4. Shelf-Life 5. Vow of Silence 6. Dregsy 7. Overexposure
