Customer Ratings & Reviews

I needed a cord for use from a power bank to my I-Phone. Customer service was questionable. I wasn’t sure what to get so asked for assistance. I’m elderly and not digitally knowledgeable. Clerk told me I would be better off getting a new power bank. He finally was able to provide me with what I was looking for although with my frustration over the way he treated me didn’t notice it was 6’ length. I wanted to make sure it was the right cable and he told me I had to that when checking out. The gal who checked me out was Awesome. Power cord does what I need it to do

Needed a USB A to C for a gaming controller and two Insignia USB a to c cords came in the pack, so I have an extra one to charge my smartphone closer to me at nights because the cord is 6ft and braided. All in all it was a good deal for a great price and I don't have to use batteries for my gaming controller

Excellent quality!! Fast charge and length is great.

The cables are good quality for the price and last through my children I am quite satisfied with my purchase.

Best on quality price, also the fact that it came in a pack of two made it convenient

Very resistant longitude excellent material resistant water resistant I can use mostly any electronic

Yeah, do not even bother with these unless it's an emergency, and you'll be able to get your regular cable back soon. I bought this two pack on April 29th, and they BOTH already barely work, and HAVEN'T been for like at least 2 months. I didn't even realize I'd had them for that little time because when I bought them, I went in for something else and grabbed these off-handedly. And I know it's not my phone, because using my sister's charger let's it fast-charge, but these take literally HOURS. You'll plug it in, and it'll say like 1.5 to full charge from your phone already being at 50-60 something percent, and that's only the case if you do not move your phone or use it. If you use the phone, it either doesn't charge, or it says it's gonna take between 6-8 hours.

While there are plenty of USB-C fast charging cables on the market, sometimes you just need a "no frills", durable cable for charging your phone or tablet overnight or while traveling. Insignia's USB-C braided cables are braided and feel thicker than many other cables I've used. They have a regular USB (USB-A) connector on one end, and a USB-C connector on the other end. Therefore, you won't be able to use this cable to charge a laptop, but it can slow charge a phone or tablet with a USB-C input. It can also be used to connect your phone or tablet to a computer for backing up or syncing. I've used the cable with both an iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPad Air (M2) and it charged them both just fine. The connectors are not overly large and have fit through my phone cases without an issue. I used a USB tester (shown in the photo) to measure the power flowing through the cable, and the cables handled the extra power requested by the iPad fine. The 6-foot length of these cables make them nice for your nightstand if you like to look at your phone in bed. I also used the cable to back up my iPhone to my Mac (yeah, I'm old school) and it worked fine, so it is good for data transfer as well.

So many items are sold now without a wall adapter and just a USB-C to USB-C cable. Very inconvenient for charging devices; especially when traveling. This charging cable allows me to connect my USB-C devices to either my laptop or the hotel USB-A port. Plus, they take up very little room. Charging was fast for my cell phone and other devices. Transfer speed is 480 Mbps. Impressive. My devices also didn’t heat up when charging with these cables. In the past I had an incident where a cable (another brand) caused an overheating issue. It may have been a defective cable. The Insignia brand has been consistently very good. I really like that it is a 2 pack so my husband’s devices can also be connected. 6’ might be overkill in length for us but better to have a little extra if you want to use your device while charging. The cables are also very sturdy. A 1 year warranty is provided but cables usually last a very long time. I would highly recommend these cables. Maybe they could make some fun colors in the future. Wishful thinking.

It's nice that we still have choices when it comes to everyday use items. Here is the Insignia branded USB A to USB C braided cable. Coming in at 6 feet of length, I find that this is a great item to stow away for the office or to your next trip where you'll benefit from a longer range to hookup and use your tablet or phone where the wall electrical socket may be further away. Being braided gives it that extra durability to withstand being used many times over. Being Insignia, they aim for low cost but decent quality materials that in my opinion are worth it here. There are questionable alternatives out there that cut corners or aren't built to spec. 18w power charging supply is decent enough for most phones and tablets. Don't expect super fast charging capabilities here. It also won't be enough for most modern laptops either. Real world testing on my Samsung s23 Ultra, it is slim enough that it won't interfere with most cases. If I'm using the device while charging, I do have to be careful I don't wiggle the cord too much or else it pops off too easy for my liking. The same goes for my Samsung tablet, I use it a lot while it's getting charged and I love that 6 feet of cord is the sweet spot to carry on my tasks.

This cable from Best Buy's in-house brand works as expected for charging and data transfer. Build quality is excellent, with a sturdy braided cable and solid-feeling plugs that also have a nice grippy texture. Six feet should be plenty for most usage. The one downside of the cable is that since it's so sturdy, it's also fairly stiff. You can bend the cable easily, but it's not supple, so if you're using it in a relatively small and self-contained area, it might worsen the clutter. The fact that this is a two-pack makes it an excellent value. Although USB-A ports have been replaced by USB-C ports on most newer devices, you'll still encounter a lot of USB-A ports in public (like at airports, hotels, libraries, etc.) so it's a good idea to have a few USB-A compatible cables available (especially while travelling). Packaging is simple and efficient, using recyclable paper and no plastic. I appreciate that Best Buy is minimizing any unnecessary packaging for something like this, especially plastic. Overall, this is a useful cable that should round out your travel electronics accessory bag.

The Insignia Two Pack of Six Foot Braided Charging Cables for USB to USB-C is a simple way to charge or sync your devices. It can be used to charge your phone, tablet, laptop, earbuds, controllers and more. The braided cord makes the cable more resistant to wear and tear, and will help prevent fraying and breakage. It is less likely to get tangled like a regular plastic or rubber-coated cord. The Insignia cord has a plastic coating that goes down the cord a bit from each connector to help with parts that always seem to break on regular cables. This pack of cables is black and has a sleek look. They are very flexible and look very stylish. I am very hopeful that these will last longer than a standard plastic or rubber-coated charging cable. The six-foot length is great for the car! These cords can definitly withstand more bending, pulling, and general wear and tear compared to regular standard cables. Insignia is a great brand and offers these cables and a good price. I would recommend.

I've become a fan of braided cables, they are less prone to tangle, easier to route or coil, and are comfortable to handle. I'm using one of these to connect an external USB-C SSD to the USB connector on a DVD player and it works perfectly. Note that these particular cables are USB with a white rectangular USB-A connector, not USB 3.x with a blue USB-A connector.

Works well with our chargers and phones. Cables are a good length.

Very long, I got these for my partner. She loves the convenience of being able to get 2. One for her car and one for her study station. Works really great.

I have had these cords for a few months now (over 3). Overall they work well, the reason I gave 4 stars as it does seem like the charge doesn't pass as fast through it compared to when I first bought it. But everything still charges as it should so no complaints there. I use this product to connect my phone to my car for Android Auto and I use the cord to charge my phone and tablet.

Great charging cable. The braided design feels durable and well made, and the 6-foot length is very convenient for charging devices from a distance. It charges my devices quickly and maintains a stable connection for data transfers. I’ve been using it daily with no issues. Excellent quality for the price.

These Insignia braided USB‑C cables are tough, dependable, and charge perfectly every time. The 6‑foot length gives great flexibility, and having two in the pack is excellent value. Sleek black design and built to last!
