Gets The Job Done
Overall, the Combo 10 Max gets the job done and is worth a shot, especially if you can get it on sale. Compared to my old J7+, the navigation and cleaning times are both much improved. Yes, there's random instances where it might take longer to find a room, but it has never gotten stuck to the point where it needed my help. It is by no means the most up-to-date in terms of technology, but it does a good job avoiding obstacles and the cleaning performance is great. Upon reading the reviews on here, there's quite a few people knocking this bot down for the appearance of it and the dock, but in my opinion, it's probably one of the best looking ones in terms of blending in with its surroundings. It's sleek, has a unique design around the sides of the dock, and the top of it can be used as a little table. Appearances aside, the dock works and is super convenient; however, I must say that since there's no heated air drying for the mop, I wish iRobot let you customize the drying time in the app. It was mentioned in a previous software update that they have increased the time, but unfortunately, it still doesn't seem to be long enough. That said, the robot still keeps the mop pad raised even after the fan shuts off, so the pad air dries on its own. Other major wins for this product come from iRobot's customer service and long-term product support. While I have only used the robot for a month and haven't needed to fix any part of it, I know that these are made to be easily repairable and iRobot has replacement parts readily available, along with demos on how to DIY. In terms of customer service, I did have to reach out to support regarding an issue with getting the robot connected to Apple HomeKit, and the support was top notch - it was easy to contact them, the agent was quick to respond, their replies were actually useful, and they were able to resolve the issue for me. Upon researching some other brands, I noticed that customers were not happy because they could not get ahold of customer service easily, and when they did, replacement accessories/parts were unavailable. All in all, it's a solid choice, I knocked off one star only because given the price point, I wish the mapping tech was better, but it still works.

Worst Roomba yet
PROS: Vacuum works. CONS: mopping is three tiny streaks, if anything. No liquid is there. This is not approved for the Bona soaps, so if you want to use that idk. I haven’t tried it with the Bona yet, but I probably will because they claim it will leave to much liquid/suds. Im using the Roomba soap now and nothing is there. The robot is rattling like its about to fall apart. The dock has a corner loose where it wasn’t melded together properly. Its also getting confused and repeating the same pattern over and over and smacking into everything although i did a mapping run. For this price, low quality garbage without making sure that it can just do the basic functions with no improvement in their tech. Beware most of the reviews before mine, they received theirs for free for leaving detailed reviews.

Disappointed with this model
I purchased this model when I see it was discounted. There is a reason it's discounted. Since my purchase in February, I have received three new replacements from iRobot. The first was because our water/solution holding tank leaked. Second two have been because the charging prong doesn't properly drop causing the vacuum to not be able to dock on it's own. However, I like the features of the product, I don't expect it to be the level of manual cleaning, but it is perfect for maintaining cleanliness. It does a great job navigating our home. Overall happy with customer service as the continue to replace the product, but on this third request I requested a new model. Customer service also takes a bit on their back and forth because they have high volume, which leads me to believe I am not the only one with functionality issues.

Research Before Purchasing
I purchased this October 9th, 2024. Probably the biggest waste of money. Is only a good purchase if you have no kids, no pets, don’t wear shoes in the house, and have all hardwood floors with no area rugs. Mine is constantly getting clogged with dust and dirt. Do not let it mop and vacuum at the same time. Do not use if you live where it snows. If floors are wet and it vacuums it makes for a clogged mess inside the vacuum and dust bin and it will not empty properly. Make sure to empty the dirty water immediately. Wash the pad after each use or it will smell bad (it washes/dries itself but still smells). I have a $200 Roomba that vacuums aimlessly that works better. PICTURES ARE AFTER CLEANING - HAVE TO DO THIS 2/3 TIMES A WEEK AS IT GETS CLOGGED.

Beta product released for consumer testing.
Terrible product. App is bad. Programming is bad. Obstacle detection is terrible. It stumbles around like a blind drunken turtle. AND it's immensely unreliable. Second day, sensor on bin broke, contacted IRobot, they sent the wrong replacement part after two weeks, sent a replacement robot, after an hour on the phone with them (just asked for the correct part), second robots mop arm was faulty. DO. NOT. BUY. Thank you best buy for making the return process easy.
