The ISO-430 isolation stand measuring 17" (430 mm) wide by 9" (230 mm) deep is designed for studio monitors guitar bass and other instrument amplifiers weighing up to 100 lbs. As part of the latest generation of IsoAcoustics stands for professional audio it updates the popular ISO-L8R series with a lower profile a new frame design and an advanced isolator for improved performance. Featuring up to 6.5 degrees of tilt adjustment the ISO-430 allows precise positioning to bring monitors to ear level while IsoAcoustics’ patented isolation system delivers superior decoupling from the supporting surface. This design keeps all energy aligned with the listening position resulting in greater clarity and focus.Optimize Speaker Placement and FocusAn important aspect of the speaker stand design is the ability to optimize its position relative to the listener eliminate soundwave reflections off the supporting surface and focus the speakers to ear level. In a typical Desktop Audio Workstation (DAW) configuration the listener is positioned 3 to 4 feet from the monitors with ear level approximately 20″ above the work surface. Raising and tilting the monitors to the optimum position can be achieved in these circumstances using the IsoAcoustics ISO Stands.Exciting the Supporting SurfaceThe isolators manage the energy of the speaker to reduce vibrations resonating through the supporting surface to eliminate dissonant sounds in the listening area or joining rooms.Reducing Internal ReflectionsInternal reflections are vibrations reflecting back up the speaker cabinet which causes smear.
