I needed a way to view 2 external 24" monitors in addition to my laptop screen but my laptop had only one HDMI and one VGA. Both of which cannot be used at the same time if the laptop screen itself is utilized. This device fixed that issue by aborting the VGA and using the usb instead. Works perfectly

I had trouble with other adapters working with the screen resolution I had for an older desktop (running windows 7). This adapter was able to support my 1920x1080 60hz screen with no problem. This adapter allowed me to extend a third monitor as my desktop does not even have HDMI ports.. My other two monitors are hooked up through VGA and DP connections.

Compatible with Windows 7, 8, 10, providing the user with the additional HDMI monitor they seek make up the JUA250; simply download, install the driver, add the HDMI cable to the TV, monitor, projector and you're all set.

Performs as expected. Streaming to TV at 25 ft. Therefore, it can lose a few frames. I am sure going to a monitor would be perfect. But I am streaming for free so I cannot complain.

It is lightweight so it does not tug on the computer's port nor does it overheat. Important on this item: Make sure to read the install instructions, and download the software first. It's easy. After that just connect it and forget it. Glad I bought it.

I love the fact it is supported on USB 2. I have an older laptop for work and don't have USB 3 ports. Shipping was extremely fast. Locating and installin drivers was quick and simple. Monitor works in full HD through a USB 2 connection.

Did not work out of the box. I called J5 tech support. I was put through fairly quickly and the tech spent an hour on the phone with me trying different fixes which I appreciated. He finally concluded the item was defective. He told me to take it back to Best Buy and return for a replacement. Best Buy did not have any so I eventually got a refund (that's another story).

If you're thinking about buying this, it's probably because you're trying to get a little more life out of an old computer. I could never get the other display to work unless I duplicated the screen. Never was able to extend the screen. j5 support tried to help but in the end told me my computer wasn't even rated for Windows 7 and to try to go get updated drivers for the computer. Back to the drawing board, or buying a new computer.

Proper functionality entails downloading and installing a driver on a Windows or Mac platform. Depending on the OS you have, different instructions apply. Please check to see if their are nay available updates for your system such as Bios, chipset, drivers, etc. Once completed, do an uninstall and reinstall of our drivers for the HDMI Adapter.
