180gm vinyl LP pressing housed in a gatefold sleeve. Two time Grammy-winning, singer-songwriter, John Prine, is among the English language's premier phrase-turners. 45 years into a remarkable career that has drawn effusive praise from Bob Dylan, Kris Kristofferson, Bonnie Raitt, Roger Waters, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, and others who would know, Prine is a shuffling force for good. He is a Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame member whose classic eponymous debut album is recognized as part of the Recording Academy's Grammy Hall of Fame. Prine's songs have been recorded by Johnny Cash, the Everly Brothers, Carly Simon, Norah Jones, George Strait and Miranda Lambert among others. But his genius isn't found in his resume, it's found in the brilliance of lyrics from his large catalog of songs. Classic Prine albums include, Diamonds in the Rough (1972), Bruised Orange (1978), Storm Windows (1986), The Missing Years (1991), In Spite of Ourselves (1999) and Fair & Square (2005). Bon Jovi is the self-titled debut studio album by American rock band Bon Jovi, originally released on January 21, 1984. Produced by Tony Bongiovi and Lance Quinn, it is significant for being the only Bon Jovi album in which a song (InchShe Don't Know MeInch) appears that was not written or co-written by a member of the band. The album charted at No. 43 on the U.S. Billboard 200. Aside from the hit single InchRunawayInch, songs from the album were rarely performed live after Bon Jovi released their breakthrough album Slippery When Wet in 1986. However, on the band's 2010 Circle Tour, songs including InchRouletteInch, InchShot Through The HeartInch and InchGet ReadyInch were performed. The song InchShot Through the HeartInch should not be confused with the much more well-known InchYou Give Love a Bad NameInch from Slippery When Wet. The album was ranked the 11th best rock album of 1984 by Kerrang! Magazine. Album Tracks 1. Runaway 3 50 2. Roulette 4 41 3. She Don't Know Me 4 02 4. Shot Through the Heart 4 25 5. Love Lies 4 09 6.
