Big difference over my HP monitor speakers. Sounds great. Great for listening to music on my computer, watching movies or using Bluetooth option with music on phone. Works well with my Classic ipod with 3.5mm plug.

Simple controls and great sound for the price. Speakers are a good size and don't take up much desk space. And the sub has great Bass.

I love these speakers. Excellent sound, the Bluetooth feature is great. My wife and I can link our phones to them while we workout. The bass has thump to it and can be adjusted to the right amount without distortion at higher levels. The highs are nice with just the right amount of mid as well.

It can get very loud yet it is still clear. The bass and volume knob can vibrate and it does not have a remote control. Certain sounds can cause it to have a crackling sound like a movie scene with a radio/tv voice sounds in it, high pitched piano sounds and low quality/resolution files. The absence of a remote is not a big deal because you can always adjust it from the source device, even casting apps has some volume control. It does not have an off switch and the woofer will hum if it is not playing anything, to remedy that I purchased an extension cord.

I had to replace my Logitech 5.1 wired speakers since my subwoofer was sitting on the ground during the flood. I tested several speakers while I was at Best Buy and when I turned the Klipsch speakers on I was hit with a burst of wind in my chest from the subwoofer and decided that these should handle the loud volume I like to listen to my music when on my computer. They have incredible clarity even at higher volume. Plenty loud at 25 % volume since they are right in front of me with the subwoofer under my desk

My old Klipsch system was about 9 years old and still working fine, however the clips that hold the speaker wire on the back of the sub-woofer broke. So it was time I upgraded to the Bluetooth version. This system is awesome, great full sound, great bass. Now not only are they used for my desktop, but for my TV, iPhone, iPad and my MacBook, since all connect via Bluetooth. Absolutely love them!!!

I have had several speakers hooked up to computers over the years, HK, Logitech, Altec Lansing and more. I listen to more music these days and have been using Sennheiser headphones for better sound. I found these at Best Buy, Klipsch has had the same basic speaker for about 14 years. The Bluetooth edition came out in 2016. No longer carrying the THX name. The plug I have seen complaints on (back of the subwoofer) has been changed and is much hardier. Set up is easy and straight forward, wires connect easily. The sound is simply the best I have heard from a computer speaker, not audiophile quality but then for $200 it is superb, crisp highs and when more bass than I want (easy to adjust). All in all well worth the cost.

The good Nice sounding speakers. Great bass with plenty of power. Can only turn the volume up a little as these things are loud. I mainly use these speakers connected to my PC. Con I have had some drop off when I am connected via Bluetooth. Not consistent drop off but it has happened a few times.

I ran into this Klipsch - ProMedia 2.1 Bluetooth Speaker System in Best Buy while searching for a replacement speaker system for my music keyboards (they have no built-in speakers) and that would also play music from my laptop or smart phone. The Klipsch brand was very familiar to me because over the years I have visited “serious” audio showrooms and compared relatively high-end speaker systems that included the Klipsch brand. Even before the sales person arrived, I was able to pair the Klipsch with my iPhone and was listening to playlists with ease. To say that I was surprised at the sound quality would be an understatement. At this price, I was unaware that this quality of sound would be available. I brought my wife back to audition (she’s pretty picky), and within minutes we had purchased the system. (Luckily it was also on sale!) We’ve had the system now for about two months, and the ability to use the Klipsch both by direct input from the music keyboards and via Bluetooth from my smart devices and laptop has been a really important feature. But it’s the sound that we continue to find amazing for the price. My keyboards create quite a realistic piano sound as well as quality orchestra instruments, jazz ensembles, and a variety of other sounds. With the Klipsch, I now experience the kind of clarity and balance that I had only been able hear on quality headphones. Reproduction of a variety of music has been equally satisfying. We have auditioned a broad range of music from Classical piano, choral, orchestral, chamber, etc. to rock, pop, Jazz, folk, blues, Latin, and others. I have specifically tested tracks that salespeople at high-end stores like to demo. So far, while not the equal of our main stereo system, it is far better than a number of popular systems I had listed to. And it’s only supposed to be a PC speaker system! At this price it’s a bargain. One caveat: After a while, you may have more than one Bluetooth device paired with the Klipsch system. With the Klipsch, a blue light turns on when a device is connected, but you cannot tell which device it is (e.g., one of your smart phones or tablets). This is common with Bluetooth devices. You need to disconnect the already-connected device, either by locating it and shutting off the connection or by power cycling the Klipsch. Similarly, to play from the keyboards or directly from a laptop using the 1/8” connector, the Bluetooth light must be off, i.e., no device can be already connected via Bluetooth. Also, for truly balanced sound, make sure the subwoofer control is not turned up too high.

I bought a 2400 dollar Bose sound system, this 160 dollar computer sound system is almost comparable in bass and sound quality. The bass on hd bass test song was amazing. If you are looking for great sound at bargain price this is a great pick. I felt that bose ripped me off until I connect optical turned it up alot then found bose delivered much more but unsure 2400 dollars was wroth it. I would never listen to it at that volume anyways. So yes I highly recommend 4 stars because a big freaking flaw in bluetooth how could they overlook this. Cons.. Bluetooth always on easy for someone to highjack.

This is a wonderful sound system for the computer. It is full and rich with plenty of bass down below and very smooth highs. Plenty of volume and easy controls. You will love it.

So far (about a month) I have been using these speakers on a computer I have setup in our living room, connected to our big screen TV. This system is used everyday, and for several hours most days. I have the speakers, computer, and TV attached to a power strip so that I can turn the power off on the entire system at night. My set of speakers did not come with an on off switch--but about a month earlier, I bought another set of the same speakers for my church. and they had the on off switch. In both cases--so far--I have had no problems turning them off at night. Sound is better than any other set of computer speakers I have purchased in the past, but they are also the most expensive ones I have ever bought. Overall, they make my entertainment system top notch for listening to movies, internet, youtube, music, etc. when compared to all previous computer speakers I have purchased over the years. When I purchased the speakers, I wanted the Bluetooth feature, and used it quite a bit, until I was able to setup my entertainment computer. After that I plugged them directly into the computer using the mini phono plug. One weird thing that happened when I turned on my laptop--which I had previously connected to the speakers via Bluetooth--the laptop found the speakers and attached. Suddenly--even while the speakers were plugged into the running entertainment computer in the living room--the sound from the movie that was playing on the living room computer stopped. Input for sound was transferred to my laptop, so I had to break (un pair) the Bluetooth connection to my laptop, before the entertainment computer would play the sound again. One feature I wish the speakers had was a button to turn the Bluetooth on and off, but this is not a very big problem. Just a pain to have to unpair, change the default Bluetooth device, or turn off Bluetooth all together on my laptop.

I needed some computer speakers, and I had a specific problem: I needed something that was less than 6" tall so they would sit underneath my monitors. I tried some Bose speakers and was very disappointed, because the demo in the store sounds very different than what you hear when you get them home. These speakers sound good. The subwoofer is nice and deep without being boomy, and they have plenty of volume. They sound good, much better than the other 2.1 systems I've tried. If I had anything to complain about, it would be the Bluetooth part. When Bluetooth is connected, the analog audio is cut off. And there's no way to disable the Bluetooth radio. (There's not even a pairing button on the pre-amp.) I really want to disable the Bluetooth functionality, but I haven't figured out how yet. I may see if Klipsh offers a non-BT pre-amp for this system. This is a minor issue because there's no way to prevent other nearby people from pairing to my speaker system. With every other Bluetooth system I have, you can't pair to the speaker without pressing a button on the speaker. This unit is always listening for connections, with no way to turn that feature off. Aside from having no way to control or disable the Bluetooth, I love this system and would gladly buy it again.

I bought these speakers to replace my Bose and they sound better. Deeper bass sound with easy Bluetooth setup. Also good for Ipad

This unit sounds gorgeous for the money. The bass is super strong without being boomy or muddy; the satellites sound crisp and clear. And it is LOUD if needed. One drawback- it doesn't have an on/off switch. Need to either unplug when not in use or plug into a switchable power source.

Far better than any PC speaker system I have ever owned. Easy to install and the sub-woofer resonates through the entire house without distortion. My wife uses the Bluetooth function to stream music from her phone without even turning on the computer. Highly recommended.

When shopping for a speaker system for my new desktop I only was thinking of something under $50. Wasn't really impressed with the selections and then noticed this Klipsch set for only $120 which to me is a great price for a Klipsch product so I splurged. Holy cow, these speakers sound incredible. Very easy to set up (hardwired) and the sound is really really good. The highs and the lows. The sub is almost as good as a home theater system. Really close. To me, the best feature on these is that the subwoofer control is on the right side desktop speaker, next to the volume knob. No reaching around the back of the sub to adjust the bass. The smaller speakers can be wall mounted but does not include the mounts. I do not think you will be disappointed with these speakers. If you are, you're an over the top audiophile. : )
