As many people are/have been, I also was skeptical on buying this. But, because of this pandemic and the uncertainties of online learning or/of how long this nightmare is going to last, I decided to purchase this laptop for my 11 year old son for different reasons. 1. Reviews. I did a lot of research and this was one of the top laptops for its price range. I was able to get it during cyber Monday for $179. An absolute steal considering it’s specs 2. Specs. From what I’ve read, you’d want to look for something with 4gb ram to keep up with today’s world. A 2gb ram is not going to last long with today’s websites. The memory is plenty for what my son is using it for. The fact that it’s a touch screen and you can flip the screen all the way around is amazing. Especially for the price. I didn’t see any other laptops within this price range being able to do that 3. Battery life. My 11 year old forgets to plug it in ALL THE TIME! And yet, it always has plenty of battery life left. He’s not using it more than an hour or so a day. But still, it’s nice 4. Size. It really is a great size for a kid or an adult 5. Screen quality and speaker sound. If you’re expecting something that has crystal clear picture or theatre-like sound with this price range then you need to come back to reality. With that truth being said, the screen quality as exceeded my expectations and the sound is actually good. It would have the same quality as some $400+ computers that I’ve seen 6. You can zoom, and you can play online games and watch YouTube and Netflix. This shouldn’t be a huge deal, but for our family it is. When I spend money on another electronic device for one of my children, the first thing I ask is what all can it do? I need to be able to do educational things and entertain them, too, on a computer. This will do both. It handles everything fine and I haven’t seen anything run slow. He will have multiple things up and running and it doesn’t slow down. You can play Minecraft. You can play Roblox. You can even play Among Us. I would imagine Fortnite, too but we haven’t tried. I don’t know how well something like Fortnite would be, but all the other games do well on it. Even Khan Academy Kids runs fantastic on this I like the color on it. I like how it feels very sturdy, unlike most laptops out there. The hinge for the screen is really nice. It’s a solid device. I don’t understand why people don’t like this one or aren’t giving it better reviews. We own 3 other computers. Two $1400/each Acer laptops and a gaming PC. Our expectations for a cheap budget friendly laptop were not very high. This laptop is so nice on every subject! I have no complaints. I would love one for our 8 year old daughter. It’s easy to navigate, it’s got all the features most basic people need and the price you can’t beat. I would recommend this to anyone. I wouldn’t hesitate getting another.

I bought this Laptop to replace the older one that my Mom had that quit working not long ago and to go along with her iPad she has. Which she likes but prefers a laptop to do certain things. Setup was pretty easy for someone that is not a Tech genious, but can find their way around with a little help Best Buy (HelpLine) The one thing I don't like and it has nothing to do with the computer itself but if you want to use Microsoft Office you can't buy it Outright you have to pay a Yearly Fee which I thing Stinks. I also ended up buying a New Printer because the Brother Printer I had which is a couple years old and works fine with my Mac is Not compatible with the Chromebook so I ended up buying an Epson XP6100 which I was able to put together but Needed a little help in Setting up as far as it getting to see the Network and to be used by Both computer so BestBuy ( HelpLine ) was very Helpful. I was surprised to that you had to buy the Mouse Separate but I haven't made a Tech Purchased like this in a while. Overall now throw everything is Setup and working I am Satisfied with it.

It’s a basic laptop but it has many features I wasn’t expecting. Very easy to sign on for gmail and effortless to get your information and work on it as soon as you sign on. It is not high tech but the screen doesn’t hurt your eyes and that is a gift in itself. The foldable feature to make it a tablet is pretty cool too for a change. Touch screen is helpful specially when creating stuff. It’s like a mix between a surface touchscreen and light like an apple air but way cheaper and less complicated. I love and enjoy my laptop and my daughter too. We were also able to find the cover for the laptop and the keyboard on Amazon for a very convenient price.

I bought this Chromebook as a backup. Lightweight/love its features.

First ZOOM IS WORKING i just checked. Second it’s very light.

Bought as a gift for my husband (for Christmas) and he Absolutely loves it!! It has many different features (including: being able to use it like a tablet) as well as a laptop. It’s also good for Zoom meetings and other things as well. And my husband likes it too, because he’s able to use it anywhere he would like, instead of just being stationed in one spot.

I never used a Chromebook and although it’s different than a PC I’m slowly figuring it out. Might have something to do with me entering my 6th decade! It starts up quickly and gives me the ability to attend Zoom meeting, check email and access the Internet. Quite happy with this purchase!

Actually was a gift, but it turned into a memory I will always have. My daughter loves it.

I have had this computer for 5 years and no issues. It started off as a business start up computer and then I erased it and gave it to my son for school and games. No issues

Looks nice and also works very well! Obviously because it was of low price, some of it’s functions are limited but it works good anyway!

More then I expected I like this brand of computers it's convenient for me.

It logs me out of the laptop and it's hard to turn off completely. Shipping was nice and carefully packaged. Timing was ok I guess the employee just gave me the wrong information on the delivery information.

This was purchased as a replacement for my HP Chromebook (when my foot caught the charging cord and it sadly was completely destroyed!)! I Google researched my options until my brain stopped working looking for a slightly better new Chromebook. This is where I finally ended my search and it was love at first use! Activated, all accounts up and running all apps installed! I was good as new again! IdeaPad Flex 3 was even better. Thin, solid, easy to operate and convertible. It's a large tablet and Chromebook style small laptop all in one. Fold flat, touch screen, touch mouse pad. Compact, lightweight, take everywhere I go and with a screen I could actually see. For 2.5 years it has been my second brain, helped handle my small business and I nowhere without it. Absolutely a great value for the money, plenty of storage, folds into tablet with seemless transition, fast running speeds and all chrome android across device linked info and access. I will be sticking with this series for my next device.

I bought this to take with me, to have a portable device. It is easy to use, runs fast, and is durable. It is lightweight, but not too light. The touch screen is nice to have and that it can flip around to use as a tablet type is an added bonus. The battery lasts a long time too. I am happy with my purchase.

Great build and battery life, easy to boot and use. It's quick to start up and fast enough for basic browsing which is main reason of purchase. Mouse gets kind of clicky, but nothing too annoying. Screen and display is great for size despite not being full HD and having a touchscreen that is quite responsive is a plus. Keyboard is decent and good regular size. Camera and speakers are good enough for video calls or meetings; we have it as a back-up for online school whenever the larger laptop fails. I feel memory is good enough for a basic entry level chromebook. Got it on sale for Black Friday which made it an even easier decision.

I was looking to replace an older laptop when Best Buy offered this Black Friday deal. The price point was amazing along with all this chrome book has to offer. It was easy to setup, light weight, sleek design, great keyboard, touch screen and the ability to flex. All the bells and whistles for a great price. This would make a great gift for anyone on your Christmas list. Don’t let this one slip by.
