Q: Does this laptop have an SSD?
A: No, i dosen't
Q: Is this laptop able to run SolidWorks and Mastercam ?
A: By all accounts it should be able to. But it runs slowly for a PC of this caliber. I use it for Octave (Linux version of Matlab).
Q: Why is the Levono regular laptop less expensive than the think pad?
A: Price is a function of the configuration of the device. The processor amount of RAM, size of hard drive, resolution of the screen etc. The ThinkPad Series is also made for business so it includes special, business related software and hardware that are not included on the consumer Lenovo models.
Q: How much does it weigh? and what accessories come with this, and tech support setup assistance etc
A: This system weighs 5.89 lbs. and measures 1.2" thin. There is 3-year, Depot tech support with this model.
A: There or no expansion slots on the board and nothing is removable or replaceable.
Q: I currently have a X 120e . What are the differences between my machine and this one advertised?
A: The ThinkPad P50 is a portable work station. The P50 is much more powerful, has a larger screen and has a discrete graphics card. The P50 is a much more capable device.
Q: Will this machine handle Windows 10?
A: You will need to check with Microsoft about upgrading the Windows 7 Pro operating system to Windows 10.
