This laptop is amazing. It functions like a gaming laptop and runs my heavily modded Sims 4 game beautifully. I use it everywhere because it’s so lightweight and the graphics are great. Because it looks like a regular laptop and not a gaming laptop, I feel comfortable using it in a cafe or in class for schoolwork. I would say catch it on sale, but it’s still worth the money. The only thing is that the fan can get pretty loud, so I recommend buying a cooling pad.

Great performance laptop

I use this machine while traveling to work on AutoCAD drawings, and its performance is comparable to my desktop workstation. It is very fast with no response delays. The only drawback is that the vents and fans are located on the bottom. When using the laptop for personal use, such as watching videos, it would be preferable if the vents were on the side instead. Overall, it is an excellent laptop.

We have noted your comments regarding the thermal design of the device, and we may use your input to make future changes.
If you would like to improve the thermal profile of your device, we recommend elevating the bottom of the laptop to allow for sufficient airflow to pass through the fans located on the bottom of the device.
The Yoga Pro 7i Aura Edition also allows you to cycle between higher performance, quiet, or automatically adjust based on your needs. To start, launch the Lenovo Vantage app, select the "Device Settings" tab from the left-hand side of the display, scroll down to "Power modes," and select the best mode based on your needs. We suggest using Quiet mode, which will lower the temperature and reduce battery consumption of the Yoga Pro 7i Aura Edition when under load. You can also toggle thermal modes simply with the Fn+Q hotkey.

I have not owned a personal laptop for over 10 years. Purchased this to use AutoCAD, more 2D designs while learning the program. No issues at all so far.
