We recently bought an older condo (built in the early 1980s) and our Samsung washer/dryer stackable set would not fit in. In fact, most of the newer laundry units in general would not fit because they must have not anticipated that laundry machines would not change in the future! The only thing that would have fit was the oldish looking stacked white laundry with top loading washing and front loading dryer combos. UGLY! We needed something better. We were seeking something sleek, modern, lots of functionality for different settings, and definitely thinner! Although this unit fit perfectly in the laundry closet - due to the location of the dryer vent for the matching dryer unit, the dryer needed to be pushed out a little upon connecting/installing it - which meant that the washer needed to be pushed out as well. This meant we needed to forgo the closet door - which most people would be upset about, however, because of the cool/modern look to it, we don't mind it at all. In fact, it's a nice compliment to our new flooring! It works great and love all the options although I will be honest in say that we haven't tried them all yet. In fact, we have stuck the basic ones but have used it multiple times already and it works absolutely great! Definitely a big win for us and our new home!

Our washer broke down during beginning of COVID and it took me forever to convince my husband to get a new washer-dryer set. Our GE washer was around 11 yrs old. Friends suggested LG and all the reviews I read, they were top rated Picked this set since I thought it would fit well into our space and had much bigger capacity than our previous machine. Got a $500 discount on top of the combined promotion price ...my lucky day! Been happily doing the laundry every since. Still learning the different cycles and timing but it's all very easy to use. A tune announces when the load is done.

This washer works great and it’s pretty quiet. I only wish the light came on as soon as you open the door without having to turn it on. Also would be great to have the option of more than one chime when it’s finished. Oh and the remote feature should work for IOS and not just Android. That leaves a lot of people without that feature that may not have know you couldn’t use IOS when they bought it. I’m sure this is because LG makes only Android phones but come on. Overall it’s a great unit for washing clothes. I love the turbo wash. I would recommend this washer.

We LOVE this washer. Many cycles to choose from. Eliminates odor from the worst of towels and bedding. Quiet, efficient, uses less soap and less water. The steam cycle is great! My kids love to do their own laundry now. Great product!

Very efficient and quite, my only complaint is having to wipe dry after use to avoid mild to grow on the rubber seals.

I have to say that I'm pretty disappointed with this unit, given the amount of money I paid for it. I wouldn't buy it again. We bought both the washer and dryer as a set so we could stack them in our limited space in the basement. After a couple of weeks of use, we noticed a leak at the bottom right of the washer, so we called it in. We were advised that if we overfill the detergent (which we didn't) then the machine creates an air bubble and it thinks it hasn't supplied enough water for the load, and so it keeps filling until it leaks. Personally I don't buy it and I think it's a design flaw with this unit. In my 49 years, I haven't seen anything like this. Even if this were the case, I would think the machine would stop and bring up a system error, rather than dump water on the floor. Poor design. Also a warning if you want to stack any LG units and you call out a technician ... the technician will want you to unstack them first, which is pretty much impossible for 1 person to do. So keep this in mind. It's a shame, because we had another LG washer and we were happy with it. I guess we'll live with this for now. I would look elsewhere for a washer if I were you.

Washer is awesome! I like the led light inside. One pro is it cleans well on cold water setting. Only con is some of the wash cycles are way to long. Can be up to 2 hours. Another pro is the perm pres setting for a quick 15 min or so wash. I use that if I need to wash only a couple of items. Overall this is a great washer for the 3 months I’ve owned it. Will update durability after owning for a year.

Before I moved to FL, I had an LG washer/dryer combo. I missed that machine. When the washer Tharp came with my house developed issues, I bought a new LG Washer and an LG dryer. The washer is great. The clothes do not over dry. The clothes come out clean and the tumble washer is so much easier on clothing. Love it.

Have only had the washer for three weeks, but love it. It cleans the clothes very well (husband cuts wood and burns wood piles as a hobby, so have some very dirty clothes). It was very gentle on the shower curtains. It is pretty intuitive to use even with all the buttons and cycles available. The clothes are well spun out so that they dry quickly. So far, exceeds expectations. Not too noisy. Holds a lot of clothes. Easy to clean after the days washing.

Bought Samsung Flex dryer at the beginning. However, it is too thick and needs at least 38 inches depth clearance in the closet. Change to this one which takes less than 32 inches and fits perfectly. Pros: It works great and quite. I really like the stylish looking of the square led design. Cons: The app only supports Andrew. I can't connect and control the machine using the iPhone except for diagnosis function.

We purchased this washer approx. 1.5 months ago along with the dryer and find that it's great and meets all our washing needs. The machine is super quiet. It does have what can only be described as a "hissing" sound when the water is being pumped into the clothes but is normal. The spin speed is great. The "Turbo Spin" cycle is fantastic for getting almost all the water from large loads of towels, jeans, etc.. For more delicate clothes I would not recommend the Turbo Spin cycle as it will twist some clothes. When I found the proper cycle for the specific load I had in the machine, this problem was corrected. The "Direct Drive" is fantastic as it makes it more quiet. This machine does adjust itself before spinning as to not have lopsided spinning. The chime at the end of the washing cycle can be turned to high, medium, low or off. I found that low was great. The machine lights up at the end of its washing and chiming to allow you to see the clothes in the tub while taking them out and not forgetting anything in it. I had a Whirlpool washer prior to this one and as with all these washer types, you "should" wipe out the front glass and seal after each use so as to minimize any possible mold that could accumulate. I myself even remove the Soap, Softener, Bleach tray and wipe that out as I learned with my Whirlpool that mold DOES grow eventually if this is not done. This is minor for me, but some may not enjoy doing it. The front door should remain OPEN after use until fully dried out and this machine has a magnetic thing that holds the door very close to the machine verses swinging openly as with our old Whirlpool. I had forgotten how fresh clothes can smell until I got this new one. This machine does have a drain cabinet in the lower bottom left corner which has it's own little hose that pulls out and a filter which should be cleaned out about every 3 to 6 months depending on it's usage. There is always a little water that remains in the soap dispenser which the manual says is normal and that is why I take the extra moment to empty and wipe dry to avoid that mold issue that could develop. It uses very little water yet certainly enough for extremely clean clothes. I love the way the water sprays into the machine from both sides verses just one area as with our old machine. I downloaded the manual before purchasing to "learn" before I chose to buy. The drawback of "Stacking" this washer is that the stacking kit is simply a silver metal bracket. It works but when the washer is on the spin cycle, the dryer WILL shake a bit. This would not be a problem if this machine isn't stacked. The hoses that come with the washer are only 4 feet so if you are not close to your water source you will need to purchase a longer one as we had to do.
