When our 23 year old Whirlpool Duet failed recently we learned that the required repair did not make sense for a nearly quarter of a century old washer. We wanted to buy a Speed Queen front loader but unfortunately their capacity is only 3.5 cubic feet which is not enough for our family. We decided on this unit for a number of reasons. One is it's top Consumer Reports rating. The other being it's basically the same unit as two more expensive variants with features we don't need. We don't need an insane number of cycle options, the ones offered on this machine are more than enough. And as far as Wi Fi enabled all we can say is... really? We are as tech friendly as anyone but sorry, we can live without our washer being tethered to our home network. So far we are impressed with this washer. It's very quiet, Energy Star 2 compliant, and does a very good job cleaning clothes. We can't speak for it's long term reliability yet other than to say, based on our old Duet's performance this washer has some pretty big shoes to fill. Time will tell. Special thanks to the extraordinary staff at Best Buy. They have earned our business time and time again.

I recently purchased the LG 4.5 Cu. Ft. High Efficiency Stackable Front Load Washer, and I’m very satisfied with the performance. It runs very quietly compared to my previous washer, and the clothes come out much cleaner and fresher. The cycles are efficient and don’t waste water, which also helps keep my utility bills down. I especially like the stackable design, which saves space in my laundry area. So far, I haven’t had any issues, and the controls are very easy to use. Overall, this washer is excellent value for the price and I would definitely recommend it.

Love this washing machine because of its simplicity and overall look. At first, I was having difficulties using it because it would shake up & move around like a storm. Ordered some anti-vibration pads for the legs to see if it would help and it did absolutely nothing began to worry i’d have to return if or tie it down. After researching for a day or two, finally read a forum on Reddit that mention to remove the 4 Transit Bolts that are located on the rear of the washing machine. Now my washing machine works smoothly. I still decided to keep the anti vibration pads but finally the machine is not sliding around which would cause it to disconnect from the outlet. Hope this review helps someone going through something similar.

This washer and dryer set is the perfect size for stackable apartment laundry rooms. It does a great job at cleaning, holds a decent amount of laundry, and has a nice sleek look. I also love the little jingle when your wash is done.

This machine is great. It is really quiet and has great cycle options. The machine does a great job of cleaning and then getting the clothes almost dry from it’s spin cycle. My clothes dry quicker now. Overall very happy with this purchase.

I am loving my new LG washer. I have been eyeing this was for quite some time now, along with a few others. While there’re many good brand out there I couldn’t pass up this washer, and I’m so glad I didn’t. I can fit so much more per load, my blankets can easily fit, and the cold technology allows me to wash with cold water only, while still getting the same results as using warm water - which saves me money on my electric bill. I would definitely recommend to families and friends to buy this washer. And it’s reasonable cheap when compared to other washers that does the same things. I do not like white appliances, but this washer is so stylish that it still catches the eyes. I love that I can stack my dryer right on top of the washer, which saves me plenty of space.

Great washing macine for a big family. I decided to buy a better quality washer this time around, after going through 2 Whirlpool washers in 5 years. I can fit a larger amount of clothing, and the run time is alot shorter. The clothes come out smelling great and nice and clean. I will be adding the pedestal that lets you pre treat clothing. I couldnt be happier with my purchase and the great installation service provided by geek squad. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality mid priced washer.

I have had this Washing machine for 2 years now and it hasnt broke or damaged in any way i constantly use it i would say about 2-3 times a week. I love this washer because it takes big loads and can wash them in 30 mins or longer depending on the setting. My one of my favorite features is the song it plays after its done its not super loud so it doesnt bother but its loud enough to hear so you know your load finished. I also purchased the 3 year warranty and haven't used it once.

This is a great washing machine! So much easier to load and unload from the front. Does an excellent job of cleaning the clothes, towels and sheets. Love the delayed start option. Runs very quiet and seems to be very well balanced so that the machines does not shake at all. Super easy to set up and get operational. Can't beat the low price!

At this price point I am happy with my purchase. Looks good and fits well in laundry room, easy to use with adequate features. Much quieter than my Samsung (especially during the spin cycle) that I had to replace after only 3 years. Only quirk is the water turns on and off a little hard. I recently purchased the dryer to complete the set.

This is our first side washer. To test it out, the first thing I did was take two dish towels out to our garden. I rubbed them very hard into the wet dirt. I then shook them to remove loose dirt. Threw them into the washer with a small load of towels. I did not expect them to come out clean. Just wanted to see how clean they would get. I could not even tell that they were ever rubbed in wet dirt. Absolutely amazed. Our other top loader could not even get spit up off of our 1 year olds clothes. This washer gets all of our clothes Absolutely clean. It also has a button lock out for kids. So they can't change settings, or stop it.

The unit is easy to use even with the advanced features. Our favorite feature is control lock. This way they kids can hit all the buttons they want, and it won't interrupt the cycle. It's quiet enough for our liking and it's very sharp looking. This is a real gem. We like it so much, we are getting the matching dryer!

We love the LG stacked washer and dryer! It fits perfectly into our apartment. It is very easy to use and works perfectly! And best of all in the future if the wash washer or the dryer needs to be replaced, we won’t have to replace the entire unit because each piece is separate! We highly recommend the stackable LG washer and dryer for its efficiency and cost!

Washer works well. I wish it had just a little more capacity but with a family of 5 it still holds a a very decent amount and we can wash a lot per load.
