This monitor is even better than I expected it to be. I knew I wanted something enjoyable to use for work and school and have to say the quality is fantastic. USB C allows me to quickly flip between work and school. I researched a lot and the Samsung competitor seemed to be a little to focused on their remotes and features when all I wanted was a monitor that looked clean, worked well, and gave me a ton of space to work, research, and have some real estate to do so. This thing gets straight to business. It may not be the best gaming monitor, but I haven't noticed any performance problems and can't imagine an average gamer would have any issues using this to play some games. I'll have to brush the dust off the PS4 to play some rocket league on here. Colors seem great and no issues on videos. Plug and play.

Such a gorgeous monitor that really helps me out with my work. Spreadsheets are amazing on this thing! The only thing I have to complain about is the lack of USB ports on the monitor, the one previous to this one had 4 total. Not sure why they decided to do an upstream port that I can't get to work :(

Nice upgrade from a few year old set of Samsung 32” 1080p curved monitors. The HDR is a great feature! I believe I’m still impressed in the jump in resolution. Make sure you have hardware that can support the full 5k or it will downscale and not look great. I had to upgrade my terminal at work because of this. Would definitely recommend.

I've used 1080p monitors since I was a kid, I can afford 4k monitors but this monitor is EXACTLY what I needed. 1440p res, gaming is good - Gamers you have to do a lot of tweaking with the monitor before you actually start playing any of your games. Not all games support this reso. recommend using 21:9 aspect ratio for some games. This monitor has a built in KVM switch, so you can plug your personal computer and work computer via hdmi/DP and it'll automatically readjust all of your devices to that device. Dope, removes the need for additional docking stations and ports its 3800R curve, idk what that means, its a slight curve not a heavy one. you move your eyes alot but not your head Recommend a monitor arm mount for more freedom, the stand provided is not enough to be comfortable If you have money saved up for a monitor and you want something as a investment not just for gaming but also for work, in my personal opinion this is it. You do have to make a lot of adjustments - DO NOT USE THE FACTORY COLOR SETTINGS. 144hz is only with display port. Don't get it if you dont have a decent graphics card(basically no onboard graphics) Keep in mind when using this on a laptop(windows) itll be janky, compared to my gaming PC, my work laptop(MSI creator 15) resolution is weird but that is because it is not display port. Please keep this in mind when you factor that in. I dont care much for resolution at work just want more space on 1 screen. Even though I marked it has a 4/5 thats as a customer... this thing is EXPENSIVEEE, I got it at a discount if the discount price was the actual product price, this monitor would be 5/5 and a dominator in ultrawide 1440p monitor market. Personally 5/5, this monitor has met all the expectations I've been looking for in the past couple months of my monitor hunt

Curve is less than I expected, but that's due to my overlooking the ratio in the specs. It games decently, nice bright and clear pic. I don't like where the joystick is at all, very difficult to access. Unless you have extremely long arm, you'll have to get up to reach it. For the price, it'll do.

Great monitor for web development. At first, I struggled using one ultrawide monitor for work for two reasons - it was too big to turn my head around and second - we use screen sharing all the time at work, and it was really inconvenient not being able to share full screen (when shared - picture from ultrawide monitor looks unreadable). But then I found this setting - PBP / PIP and split my screen into two monitors. Then I used the app to split each "monitor" into two halves. This way, I can easily fit 4 windows and share one-half of the screen entirely. Nice monitor overall.

Great colors, brightness level and good sound quality with lot of screen. Heavy monitor but reasonable stand which won’t take much space. Speakers are really good compared to other monitors. 2 USB Cs would have been better! Dual Screen controller is a software version and so you need to install in both devices.If you have a work laptop with restrictions then it might be an issue.

It's actually hard to use other monitors now. I feel like the picture quality is as good as an iPhone, iPad or Samsung Galaxy. The IPS screen allows you to look at it from angles and the images basically unperturbed. The brightness on this monitor is also really high which I love. This is a really really great monitor.

This is really the sweet spot for me. I wanted a monitor mostly for productivity and photo editing but also something that would be good for the little gaming i do. IPS panel looks great. Blacks are not as deep as OLED but i really didn’t want the stress of burn in issues and the ips panel is so much better looking than the 240hz standard displays.

If youre thinking of getting this for productivity, it is AMAZING! * * * when you setup the monitor and the picture is stretched out or resolution isn’t clear = 1. Go to Settings 2. Display 3. make sure you select the “CORRECT RESOLUTION” for the “CORRECT MONITOR“ 4. The end (that should fix your problem). Oh yea, i got its on sale for $1199.00 too.

I ise this monitor for work and personal use, with all of the available connections it is easy to switch between the two laptops, the picture is super clear and has great color

I upgraded from a 34 inch wide Lg monitor . At first I was skeptical  that I might not need such a wide monitor.  I took a chance and bought it. At first I thought it was too big, but after a month and a half of using it, I went back to my old 34 inch monitor just to see how the old monotor was. I then realized how small the 34 inch is and how much better the 49 inch is. Definitely worth the upgrade.

best display for eyes, lower arm reduce my eye pain for the case of dry eyes including efficiency of work.

Absolutely one of the best momitors ever, perfect for multi-tasking when working and powering my MacBook Pro off the usb-C port. Plus, I also use it for playing some games at night taling advantage of the 1440p @ 144hz refresh rate! It beats having two seperate monitors!

This lg monitor is a game changer. Replace double 27" monitors to this LG 49" monitor make my activities more productive. The quality of this LG monitor is amazingly clear with all the things that I do such as 3D modeling, video editing and gaming.

Quality monitor. I was looking for an ultrawide monitor to help with productivity and this solved that need. The built in monitor speakers are a nice addition as well. Setup was very easy.

Went from having dual 22" monitors at 1080p to this super ultrawide 49". Strictly for work, and it has been a game changer. I absolutely love it. I couldn't get full 5120x1440 144hz with either DP or HDMI. I used the USB-C connection from work laptop to get 5120x1440 at 72hz, which is perfectly fine for productivity.

So far this is amazing. I can have 3-4 screens up at a time. I have it hooked to an Apple Mini and it’s wonderful!!

It’s nice to have everything on one screen without having to tackle from one place to another

I’ve had it for awhile now and I can say there no complaints. The kvm switch comes in handy too!
