​For years, I've been a dedicated Samsung buyer—I even still own a 55-inch Samsung set. I was fully prepared to purchase another top-tier TV, but I decided to take a chance on this LG AI TV, purely based on its appealing budget price (under $250). I am so glad I did. ​The Performance is the Surprise ​This LG LCD TV has completely exceeded my expectations. The picture quality is incredibly crisp and detailed, performing far better than a non-QLED screen has any right to. The brightness is strong, and the color reproduction is noticeably improved compared to other sets I've owned in this price range. ​But the real standout feature is the sound. It is much louder and clearer than expected, easily beating the volume and fidelity of my previous televisions. It's a huge benefit right out of the box. I plan on keeping this TV for the long haul! ​My Only Small Gripe ​My single complaint is the remote control—I find the layout and functions more complicated than necessary, but that's just my personal take. ​Final Verdict ​If you're looking for fantastic performance and exceptional value, skip the high-end lists and give this LG a try. It’s a genuinely great TV!

I recently bought a LG 50-inch TV for my bedroom. I use it daily for watching movies, streaming, listening to music, and playing casual games. I must say, LG always delivers top-notch quality. The TV has a sleek design that gives it a premium look. The colors are vibrant and the clarity is excellent. The connectivity is great, especially for streaming. The built-in speakers are solid and better than the Samsung TV I previously owned. #HappyCustomer

I had 43" lg tv which I loved I felt it was getting a bit outdated after 7 years and was feeling small. I really just wanted something bigger for a good price that would be great for a bedroom. I was looking at other brands but this was about the size I wanted I felt like a 55" was going to be too big. My other LG tv did not disappoint so I went with another LG because of previous experience. This tv is not just the perfect size but it's way better than my old lg and the picture is way more vibrant and clear. The quality definitely out performs the price. With all feature built in it's definitely the best bang for your buck I feel like this will last me another 7 years. I have so far been impressed with LG. My parents also upgraded their tv to LG tv and they love it more than their old Sony Bravia. I don't like how the streaming services will lag, freeze or show blurry picture especially in Netflix with very poor connection. The updates they had so far have improved this a bit. I didn't like the ads on the home screen and screen saver but I did find out you can turn it off. I wish the remote had voice control to better make use of the built in AI. Overall great product.

I was in need of a new tv after my brother accidentally broke mine when he helped me move so I was looking for something decently priced but still good quality. This definitely checked those boxes for me. One thing I will say is that the remote included does not have a voice feature which is a little annoying because using it to try and type in searches for thing like netflix is a pain. The redeeming feature is that the LG app can be used in lieu of the physical remote so you can get around that as long as you connect the devices to wifi. I will say though that both the app and tv have had quite a few updates which is annoying because it has forced me to reconnect the device to the tv more than once. Also, because my bedroom is on the smaller side, I had difficulty with creating surface space for it because the base is both wide and fairly deep so I to place it in my window to maximize usable surface space within the room.

This thing is a power house! I’ve only had it for a couple weeks but already the quality and the colors of 4k and blue ray discs and even steaming movies and tv shows have blown me away. The sound bar my old tv has didn’t end up being compatible with this one but, the tv has such a good speaker system already built In I didn’t feel I had to invest in the sound bar or system right away. My old tv could never.

TV works well and looks great. I like that you can toy with the settings to make picture look even better than its default look. Only complaint I have is the LG manufacturers put in two of the same side tv legs. Wasn't able to use factory legs so had to buy third party ones off Amazon. No other complaints!

Great value tv for the price. The picture quality is great and the free channels and pre downloaded apps are easy to navigate. The only downside is having to turn the volume up high in a small room is slightly inconvenient. We will likely add a soundbar.

The TV has an excellent picture. I actually downsized from a 55’ to a 50’ inch due to my limited space.

The color and sound is nice. It has a lot of picture and audio options that you can choose from that I enjoyed. I also like how it has the Xbox gaming on the side which you can access through a monthly payment and a gaming controller. Fun. :)

The tv is a little different from my previous tv. The clarity is so much better and sound is good. I wish the remote was smaller, having small hands it’s cumbersome.

Bought this TV for a new building, picked up on 12/1 as they were on sale. installer came in to mount the TV on 12/15. the TV was damaged when it came out of the box, under the protective material, no damage to box, no damage to protective wrap, obvious that it was this way when packaged at factory. took back to store and they refused to even look at it let alone stand behind it. went through my app for support, they opened a case, told me to take it back, walked in and as soon as i walked in, another nasty attitude greeting, flat out knew we were coming and said we have the case number, but still not coving it as you only had 24 hrs to report damage. so I guess when you buy from best buy you should have them take is out of the box, verify it is ok and then re-box it before you leave the store. Now according to my App account, I have until 1/15/26 to return the item, if not liked, or defective or damaged. but they flat out refuse to help. I bought three TV's that day. a 75", 55" and this 50". Had them professionally installed. had the other 2 had not been already mounted I would have took them back. $2000. in TV's and that is the service I received. Will never buy another thing from Best Buy or another LG product. No support after the sale. Went to another retailer and bought another 50", and did not buy LG!

Not only purchased the LG-50 also buy wall mounting kit and speaker system. The instruction that came with the equipment was very informative. Installed all in a few hours and it was ready for Christmas morning.

Picture and sound quality is great. I highly recommend this TV

The BB associates were the Best! I now have my first, Smart LG TV for my Smart Fireplace! I'd have to say I'm pretty smart, for trusting Best Buy and getting what I dreamed of for my new home.
