LG is a well made brand and worth the money spent. The Remote is so helpful with so many settings. I’m so glad this model’s plug fits the wall outlet (made specifically for “through the wall” ACs) in my old apartment bldg (built in the 1920s. It could get noisy, especially when the compressor kicks in on Auto mode. But I don’t mind it much as I only care about how fast it cools my space down. I would highly recommend if you don’t mind the noisy hum. The most important part is you need to check your wall outlet to be sure this one’s plug will match up.

Be careful before buying this item!! The plug is different and I have called LG and Best Buy twice and so far there has been no solution yet. I already paid someone to install it and I may have to Return the unit since I can’t use it. I would rate it 0 stars for the difficulty and waste of time that this unit is causing me.

It cools my space very well. I am using it for a 316 sq ft space with 8 ft ceilings. I thought I would have to close off the bedroom and kitchen but I forgot to do it one day and the temperature of my combined living room, foyer and hall was still cool (total apt. size is 700 sq. ft.). At 75 degrees F, I often need to turn it off as it's too cool. The outside temps have been in the high 80s. It looks good and is relatively quiet. the remote works well. Caveat: it has 6-15P plug, not a standard plug: the blades face the round column on the plug not each other.

Items works well but the front panel over the filter rattles quite a lot when in use. I just leave it down then it does not rattle

I brought this product new got it home and it just blew out hot air. I was informed by Best Buy I had to contact the company who sent out a service man who said the compressor was not working. The company sent out another one after about a week after I filled out the paperwork for a replacement. Get the next one during the heat wave and it’s blowing out warm air! Service man comes out again same problem the compressor isn’t working! REFUND!!! I’m done! Mind you the company doesn’t remove the or that back the air conditioners you have to dispose them yourself! Never buy this product the compressors are trash.

I returned this A C unit because it didn't have the right plug for the apartment.

Only fits in 220 or 230v and above but easy install. Also you will probably need to get an AC casing.

It’s a European outlet so you can’t use it in USA.

Fits the sleeve that's already in the wall, and works great. A plug and play replacement for my old one.
