A: The Gallery series offers incredible value this year unlike prior G models. If you have the money you should get the G3. 1) MLA (micro lens aperture) - HDR/Dolby Vision is mastered for 4000nits peak brightness. The G3 hits 1400+ nits peak brightness on 2% window thanks to MLA (C3 lacks MLA technology). The C3 is something like 850nits max brightness for 2%. That’s not very good. The closer your tv can get to 4000nits the more lifelike the picture is and the more accurate the tone mapping gets. Almost all new streaming content is in Dolby vision hdr. Brightness makes incrdible difference! 2) Heat Sink - Oled displays are pixel by pixel for both light and color. This means image retention occurs. You won’t get this on LED tvs because the image/pixels are separated from the backlight technology. The more heat your OLED tv retains, the more static images are retained (think CNN LOGO or NFL Score box). The heatsink reduces your chance of permanent image retention/burn-in by A LOT. You will experience far greater longevity with the gallery series and you can watch sports or play video games longer without having to worry so much. Google “oled burn in”… 3) Gallery Series is the premium segment for LG oled. This means greater quality control. This final point isn’t my strongest one because in all honesty the C series has great quality control as well. If the extra $1k for the G series is a lot for you (it is a lot of money after all), then you should go for the C series, no doubt about it. If you can easily swing the extra cost - you MUST go for the G series. Double the brightness and better mitigation for image retention is worth every penny. I own the CX (older C series) and plan to upgrade to G3 on Black Friday. In short: the G3 is better. It’s science. You’re never going to see the difference in a silly Best Buy store presentation loop. Don’t listen to the novice nay sayers. They simply do not understand OLED technology and its shortcomings. Take your advice from a real videophile. I have owned every display tech from CRT, to Plasma, to LED, to OLED. It’s a hobby for me. Cheers!
Q: Will it coming out with 8K also??
A: No disrespect intended towards LG, but 8K is nothing more than a marketnig gimmick. There is no 8K content out there, and prices are quite high. There is also next to zero difference in quality compared to 4K, the only slight benefit is if you sit very close to a large screen (90" or larger). The average consumer doesn't have the wall space to display a television that big. Electronic manufactuers are always finding new ways to improve, naturally there was a huge jump in quality from VHS to DVD, then to Blu-ray, and now to 4K Ultra-HD but we are at a point where the human eye can't really tell any differences, unless as mentioned you have a very large screen and you sit very close. Sadly, there were will be a ton of people who fall for the "8K" thing and waste their money on it. Put the money towards a very nice 4K television and you will be set. You can't go wrong with LG's C-series or G-series, the new C3/G3 line is hitting now. The G3 is where you will see a nice improvement over the G2 from 2022, but the C3 is not really an improvement over the C2 from 2022 so if you want to go all out, the G3 is very nice, but the C2 would save you quite a bit. I am going with the 65" C2 within the next week myself.
A: C3 is better overall. Brighter picture. If the price of the c2 and c3 is similar get the c3. If the c2 is heavily discounted compared to the c3 then save your cash and go c2.
A: Get a Sonos if you haven’t already :) quite pricey but once you go Sonos, you won’t want anything else. I just got my Sonos Arc, sub gen 3, and Era 100s as surrounds for my 65” LG C3 it’s only right to pair the best sound to one of the best televisions on the market today.
Q: Does this model have wide angle viewing?
A: yes it does, that's the main reason we went with this model, views from this tv are great from any of our seats in the living room.
A: Hey, Art! The LG 65" OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV does not have a built-in ATSC 3.0 tuner. It has a built-in ATSC 1.0 tuner. ~Rita
Q: Is the screen anti-reflective?
A: I work in the optical business and it does not have an anti glare coating on the screen, but the picture quality is the best I have seen in our living room. Dark movie scenes are now bold and clearer. Watching from any angle from the sides of the tv are still distinguishable. Overall satisfaction is very high.
Q: How long is the power cord to the Lc 65 in oled c3?
A: standard 5' long power cord

The LG 65” C3 OLED evo (2023) is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for top-notch picture quality. The OLED evo panel delivers deep blacks, vibrant colors, and excellent contrast, making movies, gaming, and sports look amazing. The α9 Gen6 AI Processor sharpens images and upscales content really well. Gamers will love the 120Hz refresh rate, NVIDIA G-Sync, and AMD FreeSync, which make gameplay super smooth with minimal lag. The webOS smart platform is easy to use and packed with streaming apps, though it does have some ads in the interface. While it may not get as bright as some high-end LED TVs, its incredible contrast and wide viewing angles more than make up for it. Overall, the LG C3 is a great OLED TV that delivers impressive performance and value.

The LG OLED C3 is one of the most outstanding models of 2023, continuing the reputation for excellence that characterizes LG’s OLED TVs. This TV is ideal for those seeking exceptional image quality, compatibility with the latest technologies, and an elegant design. The image quality it offers is impressive, with vibrant colors, perfect blacks, and infinite contrast, thanks to its self-lit OLED technology. Its α9 Gen 6 AI processor enhances content upscaling and optimizes the image in real time using artificial intelligence. Additionally, it supports advanced HDR formats like Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10, and HLG, ensuring an immersive cinematic experience. When it comes to gaming performance, this TV features a 120 Hz refresh rate, compatibility with HDMI 2.1, VRR, and NVIDIA G-Sync, making it perfect for gamers. Its response time is almost instantaneous, around 0.1 ms, and the support for Dolby Atmos adds an extra level of immersion to games. The webOS operating system included in this model is intuitive and customizable. It offers a wide variety of apps like Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, and more, and supports voice assistants like Google Assistant and Alexa, making it easier to control the TV and other smart devices in your home. The design is minimalist and ultra-thin, allowing it to integrate perfectly into any space. The central stand provides stability, but it is also compatible with VESA mounts for those who prefer wall installation. Regarding sound, it is clear and powerful, although the built-in 2.2-channel speakers may fall short for the most demanding users. However, its support for Dolby Atmos and the option to pair it with LG soundbars allow for a more immersive audio experience. In summary, the LG OLED C3 is one of the best options on the market for those looking for a high-level visual experience, whether for movies, series, or video games. Although its price is higher compared to conventional LED TVs, its performance, design, and premium features make it a worthwhile investment. It is ideal for movie enthusiasts, gamers, and anyone seeking the best in TV technology.

Picture is amazing, the sound is acceptable. We use a Yamaha soundbar for movies, and some TV shows, etc. The AI options are a bit off at times. Had to manually tweak several settings, including the colors. This TV is frequently used in a fairly bright living room during the day, and handles it well. For the most part anyway (see below). The remote is functional at best, although the pointer function helps at times. One of those love it or hate it things I guess. My only other minor complaint, is the screen is VERY reflective. I mean, like almost mirror quality. So I can't have my front door open during the day, and none of my living room or dining room lights on, in front of the TV. They have to be off, unless we are watching a very bright movie or TV show. I have looked into setting up some ambient lighting behind the TV, and in other areas in the room outside the field of view. Overall though, I am very happy with the TV so far.
