When I first purchased these headphones, they were perfect. In fact, I liked them so much I purchased my girlfriend a pair as well a couple of months later. The sound quality, the fit, little to no issues hearing or being heard during calls, and the retractability of the earbuds were all great features when we first bought these headphones. The problems did not come until about 4 months later. My girlfriend’s headset started coming apart. A couple of months after this, the headset started working poorly. We called LG to see if the product was under warranty. They said we would have to pay $100 before they diagnosed the problem(s) and it would take a couple of weeks for them to ship it back. I paid $150 for both of these (Over $300). Paying this amount for headsets, you expect a manufacturer warranty for at least a year. My own headset lasted a little longer than my girlfriend’s, but only for about a year. About 10 months after the purchase of my own headset, the headset started to fall apart. I would put certain parts back in place, but the easy fixes only lasted temporarily. A couple of weeks ago, sound stopped working in the right earbud. A few days later, I noticed the volume on my left earbud no longer was able to max out. This is unfortunate because I was traveling by plane when I noticed this. I thought maybe the noise in the airport or on the plane was the real issue, but I could barely hear out of my headphones when I got home later that day. I really enjoyed this product when I first bought it, but since LG does not stand by their product at that cost, I can’t stand by LG’s headsets. Never again.

These are the best. This is my second pair. The sound quality is awesome the price is a lottle pricey but I managed to get them on sale which is still a little high but betrer than regular price. They are comfortabe and don't have to worry about loosing them. They the run time is awesome also.

This is my 2 one I’ve purchase my original LG it lasted 5 years and gave out. This new one has been updated and the output is incredible.. it’s easy to charge and keeps battery up for 2 days , perfect for gym and late night iPad use.. easy to setup and I know it’s a keeper.. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great Bluetooth buy.. like the retractable earphones too !!

My 3-year old LG HBS750 died after my dog claimed it as a toy. Replaced it with the Platinum+ (HBS1125) and I’m quite happy with the newer version. Excellent sound, super-comfortable, and I love the retracting feature.

After a little less than a year the plastic started coming apart and at 14 Months the right ear stopped working. I do not believe this headset was as durable as previous ones I’ve owned even though I thought they had some cool new features. It’s hard to say if I would recommend these. The sound was awesome but not the durability.

Excellent headset. Would give it 5 stars if wire to earbud was not so delicate. Retactor works well and I prefer it to less expensive non retractable headsets. Wire on one side damaged 4 months out of warranty. :(

All i do with these is run and use them around the office. Im pretty easy on them, my last pair lasted years until my dog chewed on them. On these, my first pair broke in 6 months, my second in 3 months. They broke in the exact same spot in the exact same way with a failed nut popping off the plastic. The actual sound is great, battery life is fantastic, and i love the headphones, but i am not going to buy 2-3 pairs a year.

Prior to this "Platnum" Bluetooth, I had used an earlier model, the same brand, which lasted for almost 5 years, even having survived an extended plunge in a river that I slipped in. This Platnum unit pales greatly in comparison. This version doesn't connect with Siri (I use an iPhone) but *should* connect with Google Assistant...mine did not. When I wanted to connect through Siri, I had to do that audibly through the phone. The battery life was negligible but workable. I have had this unit for just a little over 1 year and one of the earpieces actually broke when I was taking it out of my ear. Bottom line? I don't recommend this particular unit due to instability, lack of voice control via Bluetooth connection, and not great battery life. In the last 3-4 months, the unit would disconnect/reconnect to the phone, sometimes serval times a day. It became more of a frustration than a help, though I consider my issues with it to be "First-world problems"...

I spent $213 on these headphones. They get used every day but I do not use them in any sort of abnormal way. Within 6 months the housing broke. Also just yesterday the retractor broke on 1 ear. So its completely stuck and will not retract anymore. Its too short to reach my ear so these are no longer usable. LG will not warranty it so now I just have a very expensive set of broken headphones. It seems they aren't willing to stand by their product. That will be the last LG product I will be buying.

Love these headphones this is my 4 pair - like the sound quality and retractable headphone feature -especially while driving. Don’t have to worry about losing them. The first two pair lasted 2-3 year. My last two pairs didn’t last a year without falling apart so I’ll probably have to start using my AirPods or Bose in-ear headphones. For $199 they should last longer than a year

I've purchased a number of the LG Bluetooth over the years, and other than wearing out after years, I didn’t experience any problems. My 1st LG Bluetooth purchase was around 2009/2010, when they were approximately $69.00. Last year my Bluetooth was lost/stolen, so I had to buy another one. However, the purchase of this LG Bluetooth last year (October 2022) turned out to be a big piece of crap!!! It was totally NOT worth $200 I was truly disappointed with this LG Bluetooth.!! Of course it was after the return period when it started breaking. A piece came a part, I was able to snap it back on, but eventually it came off again somewhere, and I've never found it! Totally disappointed with the inferiority of this LG Bluetooth, and apparently Best But doesn’t carry this any longer! Don't know where I'll find a retractable around the neck bluetooth! $200.00!?!?

We purchased this product and with 5 week it cracked along the back on the manufacturer's seam. They claim to provide a 1 year warranty; however, when I called LG they refused to warranty stating that since it was cracked (again along their seam). I would believe that a product that costs this much should last longer than 5 weeks and when it breaks should have the warranty they claim in provides! Definitely avoid this product.

Absolutely a waste of money. I bought this online in June and by October it was trash. The earbuds part broke and the seal around the plastic neck piece came unglued. All of the internal wires were exposed. I tried to get something done with Best Buy, but they would not help. Tried to call LG for some support and they had nothing, either. If I had bought this on Amazon, they would have offered Asurion for two years and I could get another one or get it repaired. This was an expensive lesson learned and another reason why Amazon is ruling the online ordering game. Do better Best Buy...just do better.
