Magnificent 7 Deadly Sins - DVD

A madcap satire of English propriety, Graham Stark's The Magnificent Seven Deadly Sins unleashes Britain's naughtiest bawdiest comedians upon the capital vices. While it may fall short of it's claim of being The funniest film with the greatest all-star comedy cast ever, it's abundant sight gags and double entendres make it the perfect specimen a unique form of risque humor and a veritable Who's Who of 1960s British comedy. With it's episodic structure, animated interstitials and script work by Graham Chapman, the film often evokes the irreverent spirit of Monty Python's Flying Circus, but the comedy of The Magnificent Seven Deadly Sins is of a kinder and gentler nature, expressing a warm nostalgia for simpler times, before the sexual revolution turned such lovable comedians into cultural dinosaurs.

7 SINS is a searing, subversive horror anthology that reimagines the seven deadly sins through the twisted visions of underground cinema's boldest voices. Each segment explores a sin not by doctrine, but through raw, human impulse creating a portrait of desire, despair, and decay. The nightmare begins with Dario Almerighi's WRATH, where a jogger's barely contained rage explodes. Sam Mason-Bell's haunting ENVY follows a couple lured into a tragic erotic encounter, while SLOTH, from Francesco Foletto and Elisa Carrera Fumagalli, spirals into self-harm. Michael J. Epstein's PRIDE tackles religious repression and fractured identity. LUST, by Domiziano Cristopharo, explores a disturbing AI relationship. Jason Impey's GLUTTONY riffs on grindhouse cannibal flicks, while Poison Rouge's GREED closes the anthology with a harrowing tale of S*x work, debt and damnation. Dripping in gore, laced with nudity, and steeped in sorrow, 7 SINS is more than shock for shock's sake, it's a meditation on why we fall.
