The Good: The lawn mower is easy to setup. Once it is setup and it’s starts cutting, it does a pretty good job of keeping the area trimmed nicely. I own 2 of these but the fist one I purchased is only used for a very small closed in area directly behind my house. I bought a new one to start doing other areas of my property. I was able to get the antenna in the center of the largest area of my yard and manually mapped that area. It wasn’t easy to use my phone to control the lawn mower to map the area but I was able to get it done. The Bad: the design of the front bumper it keeps getting caught on different things: my wife’s trellis, one of the several bird house poles we have in the yard and sometimes a branch that it is cutting too close to. I have to now go in my yard and Luba proof it. I think there is a way to go and set areas to not cut but haven’t figured that out yet. Another bad, I went to map another area and when I was done, I accidentally hit “add new lawn” instead of “finished” and yes I realized it was my fault but it deleted the lawn I just took 30 min to map on the heat. I had to do it again. Then when I did it again, I crossed a line I made and it errored out and I had to start over. This happened twice before I threw in the towel. Thehome e won’t work when you’re too far from base. And thinks it’s somewhere else instead of where it should be on the map.
