Pairing this tweeter with lightweight woven fiberglass woofers means that Motion CI delivers a clean and balanced sound that is perfectly suited for any application. Whether you listen to music, movies or a little bit of everything, Motion CI gives you a true high-end audio experience at an affordable price. To round out the assortment, pre-construction brackets are available for all models, and all in-ceiling models have square grilles and retrofittable back enclosures available separately.

The Klipsch R-5502-W II maintains the core technology use of a premium 1” Titanium compression driver (tweeter) mated to an exclusive Tractrix Horn combined with dual 5.25” Cerametallic woofers in a 2-way design. The R-5502-W II is perfect as a very powerful front right, left or center channel speaker and can fill the largest rooms with sound. Now with a new low profile, more elegant grille and refinements to both high frequency and low frequency reproduction, it continues as the perfect choice for everything from 2-channel music playback to full, large room surround sound use.

The smaller of the two “LCR” models in the Motion XT CI series, the XTW5-LCR functions equally well as a center, front or surround channel, or anywhere higher performance, higher output capability and/or a more rectangular shape is desired. A perfect complement for a flat panel TV or projector screen; the XTW5-LCR allows for flexible placement and incredible performance. Its FMT XT tweeter can be rotated to help create the sound dispersion that works best for your space. The MartinLogan Motion XT CI series takes performance to the next level over Motion CI. The Folded Motion XT tweeter gives each model in the Motion XT series even more of the clarity, output, and efficiency that the standard size FMT is famous for. With Motion XT, we wanted to increase all aspects of performance over the Motion series, so we didn’t just stop at the tweeter. All Motion XT models feature woven Kevlar woofers for increased rigidity and lightness which translates into better sound. In addition to the larger tweeter, and lighter, stronger woofers, MartinLogan’s design and engineering team has fitted the Motion XT series with a more substantial chassis to strengthen the speaker and provide a more accurate sound, like a better cabinet on a traditional speaker. With Motion XT CI, the difference is in the details. No matter which Motion XT CI speaker you choose for your room, rest assured they are designed to provide a consistently high level of performance and can easily be used with other MartinLogan speakers to make creating the perfect system for your unique listening space that much easier.
