The MC6-HT is the angled version of the MC6. By designing the speaker with a fixed tweeter and woofer angle, we were able to tune the performance of the speaker far more accurately than universal pivoting designs. The MC6-HT is recommended for applications where the listener will spend most of their time not directly underneath the speaker. Excellent ceiling and Atmos speakers.
My home theater is a 7.2.4, with these rounding out the .4 Dolby Atmos speakers. One may consider these overkill, but all my speakers are ML Motion series, so they timber match well. I'd highly recommend these for any application, granted they are rather pricey. Easy to install with a clean finish. I'll be spray painting the grills mat black eventually.
