I bought this to replace my Surface Go 2 that just kept struggling with what I needed it to do. I use it mainly for loading D&D character sheet PDFs, some occasional coding, digital art, and web browsing. It's fully backward-compatible with older Surface accessories I had used with the Go 2 (a Surface Mouse and a 4th gen Surface Pen). The battery and processor on this device are both excellent and I'm able to use it for several hours without worrying that the power will run out. I haven't tested exactly how long it can go on a full charge, but I'm not exactly using this as my main computing device, just a light companion device for on the go, which it excels at doing. As far as refurbished devices go, this purchase was stellar. The price was decent for an excellent open-box quality, and I saved a few hundred dollars for a device that looks and runs like it wasn't ever touched after opening. This does not come with a keyboard, which is unfortunately standard from Microsoft at this point. I bought one separately (also refurbished), but again the combined price was well below what I would have paid for a brand new sealed-box device without the keyboard.
