Purchased this because Xfinity said my old modem was outdated (which it was). This modem/router combo was easy to set up and, after doing a reset to update the firmware, I was able to go in to tweak my settings. I get great speed. I took one star off because the range was only a tad better than my ols one

We were renting a box from Xfinity for $14 a month ,we don't want to rent anymore so we bought this the price is good and it works excellent.All we do is stream so this works perfectly for us I would recommend the Motorola mg7700 because it's a good brand and it's economical. I forgot to mention it is very compact,. ideal

We have Xfinity 250g package and we get every bit of it using this. My old one also bought from bestbuy maxed out at 300g but we only saw maybe 60 of of it. With this I really feel I am geting the most out of my internet. Set up was easy before I opened the box I called Xfinity and they programmed everything for the new one at no cost. All I had to do was plug it in once they said to do so! My playstation (when wired in) now only takes 20 mins to download a 90g game when before it would take all night with my old router plugged in.

This Motorola modem is easy to set up by yourself. It works great! We were having problems with HULU but it is working very well now. Just remember to set up all printers, phones, and all other devices using your WI-FI modem. We have Xfinity but do not want to pay to rent their device. This works well with xfinity

Great speeds wired and wireless! Easy set up. Did have to go into the modems user interface to change some settings to adjust wireless signal quality as alot of my neighbors were using the same channels and frequency. Other than that, speeds are as advertised with quite a few devices connected. Happy with my purchase!

Well, I was able to use this with SuddenLink, all I did was give them the MAc Address and walla I was connected. The 2nd day, I started experiencing intermittent connection, I called Motorola and even email their tech, non were able to help me. I was told it is a bad Router, and I need a replacement. So, if you are experiencing On and Off connectivity, and PING says transmit failed. General failure, the fix is to update all your Ethernet and Wifi driver. See my Speedtest

This is a good all-in-one cable modem plus router with lots of colorful and therefore useful/informative status indicators. Signal is pretty strong.

This product works great with my Xfinity internet and doesn’t cause any interruptions or lagging when I am logged into my wireless devices. I would recommend this router/modem if you are looking to upgrade your speed or get your own device for your internet service.

I did my research and Motorola is the best modem for cable services. And Best Buy had a good deal a few bucks more than Amazon but I can go get it.

For a dual band gateway its fast and covers our 1400 sq foot 2 story condo very well. We run 9 different devices on the wifi and it handles them all without a problem or slowing down. I am pleased with this device. Also easy to set up.

Fast, easy to set up and reliable- this was way better than the router I was renting from Xfinity

This solved our problem. Our WiFi signal was not strong enough to stream movies to the flat screen on the other side of the house. Plugged this unit in and Shazam we'e able to stream Netflix etc. Very straight forward and easy set up. Using it for a month or so and No Issues. Laptops and Smart phones all load web pages very fast.

The Motorola Modem is the best compact modem we tested, not only because of its capable performance at high speeds but also due to its overall convenience. It saves space but manages to pack a lot of useful features into its small frame that can make setup, use and troubleshooting easy. Cheaper than cox supplied modem in long run
