Q: does this work with Spectrum

A: The answer Dougie provided is not correct and yes he is not an expert and should not answer questions he doesn't know. Dougie shouldn't be making guesses confusing people . To answer your question, the answer is NO. If you have your heart set on the 7700 series, the Motorola 7711 has two voip phone ports for Xfinity's triple play. For me, I don't subscribe to Xfinity's triple play, and I use this modem/router 7700. I do use voip phone service, but I've been with Vonage since beta, I have no plans to use Xfinity's Voip service, and this modem/router is a good one for my needs.
Q: I have fiber optic internet service, will this modem work with fiber optic
A: Recommend you check with your internet provider.
Q: Is this a 32 X 8 modem/router?
A: Believe it is a 24x8
A: Yes, this Motorola AC1900 supports simultaneous dual band radio 2.4 and 5G
Q: Does the Motorola MG7700 unit work with Spectrum cable and phone?
A: This Motorola instrument is a CABLE DATA router. It takes signal from your cable provider and connects you to the internet. In addition it provides WiFi connectivity over a limited range. If you also get "landline" telephone service from your cable provider this instrument is NOT equipped to make that connection to your home telephone network. Ask Spectrum to recommend an aftermarket telephone modem.
Q: Is this compatible with Wowway Internet?
A: The best thing to do is call your internet company and be 100% sure.
