Mr. & Mrs. Smith - DVD [2015]

This movie was the marriage before the real life marriage, in that the chemistry between Brad and Angelina was dynamic.

This was one of the best action movies known to man. This movie was very entertaining and very funny.

What do you do when you discover you've married a contract killer? To complicate matters, what do you do when your spouse discovers that you're engaged in the same secret occupation? And further, what happens when your own reputation and livelihood--and eventually your life--depends on your killing your spouse? Mr. & Mrs. Smith's deft handling of this dark premise allows the viewer to breathe easy and enjoy the characters' explorations of a what-if scenario that purposefully explodes the boundaries of probability. The movie is intentionally and playfully filled with cliches (e.g., the use of the name Smith to cover true identity) that in less skillful hands would be embarrassing. The writing is clever, and the primary actors clearly had fun in their roles, because we have fun watching them.

This is a humorous action film, that requires quite a bit of suspension of belief. The tension and repartee between the protagonists is amusing.; and on the whole it is an enjoyable film. that, could have been much improved with a tittle less violence and more personality development, as well as more emphasis in exploring a real and convincing relationship..

Put two professional assassins together disguised as husband and wife working for opposite organizations, then throw in a contract on each of them to be performed by each other, and you have a great action adventure with bite, albeit with a little tongue in cheek.
