Good placement of all plugs. Easy BIOS layout. Didn't come ready for my Ryzen 9 5900X, but it was easy to USB Flash update the BIOS. Not a lot of RGB (which I like). Love the dual LAN connections (great for work).

Simple to set up, makes sense visually. Decent board

Waited 12 days to begin my PC build. Took the motherboard out of the box, mounted it, built the PC, attempted to turn it on and nothing. A PC store informed me the motherboard was bad. Best But won’t refund after their 14 day period so now I’m left with a $200 piece of junk.

I purchased this motherboard because of it's superb VRM (voltage regulation module) This is why you see such large heat sinks along the top left of the board. VRM quality should be one of your MUST HAVEs when shopping for a motherboard. The thickness of the PCB as well. Motherboards are complex. I'll try to be brief about the other reasons. PCIe 4.0. Two M.2 slots. BIOS flashback and several other features were great to have as well. The board does have some basic RGB lighting but I don't really care about that stuff. Manual was a bit stingy with info and I had to search the board itself for the location of jacks and pins.

I thought it was time for an upgrade, I had a MSI B350 Carbon Pro and I found this at a good price(I let my wife have my old pc for her office) I used this for a new build along with some rgb fans and a AMD 9 3900X along with some rgb ram and the build looks fantastic. This thing is a beast so I feel I won't have to upgrade for a long time. It was easy to install and the motherboard is solid, no flex on the board. It has tons of feature too.

I needed an AMD mobo to start my PC build and this covered everything I was looking to get on a motherboard at a great price point. I didn't need to break the bank on a "premium" tier board and this board sure seems premium to me for the features it has compared to my previous board. A solid product and one that flashing the BIOS for a Ryzen 5 5600X was super easy to do with the BIOS flashback button on this mobo. Would buy this same product over again without a thought.

Great motherboard still to this day. Been had this since 2020. Going strong for 3 years straight.

Worked right out of the box. Easy to set up. And has some nice RGB lights on it as well. Much better than the B450 Tomahawk.

My Setup: -MSI B550 Tomahawk (this board) -Ryzen 7 3700x -Mushkin 2x32gb ddr4 3600 ram Thoughts: This board just works. I haven't had any issues with compatibility and it fires up every time. The VRM is great and I have no complaints. If you are looking for a solid board with good components, go with this.

Good value board with headroom for overclocking though I've kept everything at stock (Ryzen 5600X). No issues and it was easy to build with. The RGB is pretty unremarkable and I leave it alone since I control everything else through iCUE. Only feature this is missing for me is Wi-Fi but I didn't let that stop me from choosing it over other options.

I have been waiting for this board ever since it was announced. It was sold out quickly so I had to wait. I was worried about paying a premium or a markup but BB had it at the MSRP which was nice. Pro: No issues with delivery, installation or setup. Popped in my Ryzen 3700X, etc. and took off. Did the BIOS update later. Great features and flexibility for most needs. Very capable board for the long term. Con: Software comes on CD. Since I didn't have an optical drive on this build, had to download everything from MSI and install it seperately. A USB or initial install package on the website would be nice.

Great motherboard. Works extremely well with cases that have an external USB type C port on the interface. The motherboard also has a physical switch to turn the RGB lights on and off. Connectivity is great. Only thing is I wish it would have USB 2.0 ports.

It was a great upgrade for what I had the budget for! Works great. Had no problems switching it out with my old motherboard!

Great board for a 5800x. Usb C front header and a ton of fan headers. It has 12v and 5v rgb as well as a dedicated pump header. Not much more you can ask for.

MSI boards are always great and reliable, however i would have liked more usb ports and more rgb fan headers. If anyone is looking for an alternative I recommend the aorus pro b550 board from gigabyte. Got mine for even cheaper than this board and it has better features and value. If ports are not a problem for you, I absolutely recommend you keep this board, I had to return mine because of some compatibility issues on my end, otherwise i would still have this board today.

Exactly as described, easy to install, straight forward instructions and manual. Rgb is subtle but a nice addition.
