Im so amazed with this MSI gaming laptop, i give 4 stars because of it's 60fps. but performance? Just wow!! got it on sale and so win win

Well built. Had to tweak a few of the settings at first, as it was running in a Turbo mode and causing the fans to run all the time and CPU to stay in 45 c range idle. Once I turned it to the ECO mode it stays around 32 c. Benchmarks only decreased by about 3 %. But I plan on having this awhile. 2060 graphics card holds above 75 frames per second with high settings in Destiny 2 and some other games that showed frames per second. It has a Kingston 512 SSD in it. One stick of 8 GB ram (S7C-S68C201-H23); I put in a PNY 16 GB stick 266 GHZ with it and it works great. Boots in about 12 seconds. Battery seems to last about 2 1/2 hours; would have like longer, but didn't really plan on using it somewhere I couldn't just plug up. Screen in 60 Hz, but I did not see any issues with that. If that is a hang up, just remember you can always upgrade the screen to a 120 Hz or 144 Hz later or have Best Buy do it. (About 60 or 70 dollars for the screen)

Powerful enough to run even the latest titles in high settings. With RTX 2060 below $900, that is a steal! Sure, it does not have a metal body or an impressive screen but if you are a gamer on the budget, this laptop is of high consideration

Writing this review about 4 years after purchase and it is still holding up strong. Of course battery life has diminished but with all my travel and using it on the go I have no problems at all even adding more internal storage was simple. Would buy again! Plays almost all modern games while holding steady frames above 60fps max 1080p settings!

Pretty good laptop. Don’t know much about laptops and I have only downloaded one game to play so I’m not sure about the storage space. So far the only issue I have with this laptop is if I run my game for less than a minute, the fans turn on immediately and it’s pretty loud. I usually use headphones so I don’t hear it but anyone around you would definitely hear it. It also gets pretty hot around the sides. I would imagine if you used it for light gaming it would be a great computer and so far I don’t think it gets super heated when doing small tasks like work and stuff.

Love it, had to install more ram for my games and a second pcie hdd, this thing is a beast in gaming, i love it, great product, expect it to get hot, this is normal. Love it...

It works very well. I am not a gamer, but my son uses it for Roblox, we have live streamed on Twitch so it was able to run smoothly with little lag. I work on it and usually have anywhere between 5 and 25 tabs open as well as having Youtube music or news in the background. Sometimes live Youtube or old ones. I have downloaded lots of my videos and photos from GPhotos and they have been downloaded very fast. The red backlight on the keyboard is very useful for night use. Although expensive. You get what you pay for.

I recommend this laptop, especially when it's on sale. It's pretty powerful. Every game I've played so far I was able to play at high or even max settings (including Witcher 3 and Monster Hunter World). Also, this laptop can get very loud and hot, so I would recommend buying a cooling pad or something.

I am using it for work and it is super fast. Yes the processor fans make noise but not unbearable. Sometimes it glitches on instal and uninstall - freezes up. Had to hard reboot twice by holding power down. Again hard to say if this is a software issue but most likely. Wish I had 16GB RAM though

Pretty good laptop and got a great deal on it when it was on sale. I upgraded the RAM to 32GB and the SSD to 2TB as soon as I got it and have not been disappointed.

good processor for running heavy apps. Nice built laptop. Very satisfied. Love the back-lit keyboard.

Does everything they say it does. However it runs hot by far the hottest piece of equipment I own next to my stove. so no playing games on your lap. I would suggest spending a couple more hundred to get one with better cooling.

Great sale price for the specs. Ordered from Best Buy online and shipped quickly. Arrived on time. The laptop was packed well. This will be a Christmas gift for my daughter. The only drawback is the low Ram count. Had to order Ram upgrade separately from a different vendor.

Compact, Quit and Good for gaming and some photo/video Editing. What I love about this laptop is that it is very light. Powerful enough to play latest games in high settings.
