I purchased this MSI Thin A15 as a Christmas gift for my son, and now that he has had several months to really use it, I feel like I can give a much better review than I could have right out of the box. He absolutely loves this laptop and uses it regularly. Gaming is primarily what he uses it for, and the performance has been smooth and responsive. The display is sharp, games look great, and the 144Hz screen makes movement noticeably fluid. He also uses it for everyday things like browsing, watching videos and multitasking, and it handles everything without feeling sluggish. I also like the overall design. For a gaming laptop, it isn’t unnecessarily bulky, and the illuminated keyboard gives it the gaming look he wanted without being over the top. He’s personalized his with stickers and keycaps, so it has definitely become his computer. Probably the best compliment I can give it as a parent is that this wasn’t one of those Christmas gifts that got a ton of attention for two weeks and then sat untouched. Months later, he’s still using it consistently and enjoying it. If you’re shopping for a teen who wants a capable gaming laptop that can also function as an everyday computer, this has been a great choice for us.

This is a very good laptop for its price, the only problem is the very low RAM storage but that can be upgraded. Overall i recommend getting it if you want to game and do school stuff like me.

I got this PC from looking at the brand and specs. It runs most games ive tried even newer titles like outerworlds 2 and Gear of war 5. The low ram at 8gb some games have issues like outerworlds 2 which i got it to launch a few times but it gets stuck at loading screen. I think it can be improved by just adding more ram and maybe a larger ssd. The AMD And NVIDIA are great to have in a laptop.

I bought this for my son for college, i expected it to have some issues for the price, runs smoothly only thing i dont like is the bloatware that i comes with. Oh and will probably upgrade the ram in the future.

very good laptop for gaming I play World of warcraft runs great and fortnite runs alright for a laptop and many other games run amazing also can upgrade the ram for better preformance.

Laptop is incredibly sleak and portable (good for fitting into tight soaces.) Not very optimal battery life will die in under an hour unplugged but its performance is outmatched for the price. CPU is plenty fast for most games, and the GPU runs most games at 60fps or better. Weak points are the RAM and drive space. You'll probably want to upgrade both sooner rather than later, but the technologies are DDR5 and NVME, so you have great starting points for those upgrades that will last you awhile.

Excellent gaming laptop. If you buy this, know that buying at least 1 additional 8gb stick ram is basically mandatory. I bought this knowing that and have been able to play everything on this laptop ( new games may require medium/low settings but will still get a good frame rate.) As of writing this, ram prices are very high so keep that in consideration before buying. The best feature on this thing is the 144hz display and it's great If you turn the refresh rate down to 60 in settings and use a middling brightness setting, you can squeeze 6ish hours out of this things battery for non gaming tasks. I did anyway.

Perfect for my kiddos first gaming pc. 4050 with a amd cpu, I don’t have to worry about it thermal throttling like the Intel cpu. Runs all their titles Roblox/fornite never had complaints as of yet. The only downside is the low RAM count out of the box. Just running background processes almost half is already allocated and used. Which leaves the small 4~ish gb left for my kids. I have yet to play any big demanding AAA or AA titles yet but I know there will be problems. But my kiddos aren’t playing anything like that yet so it’s ok

This laptop is honestly pretty decent in AAA games like Cod or helldivers The display is your average ips 1ms which is perfect and isnt bad at all. The battery life though is the biggest problem if your playing a game with out the charger your laptop would die within 30 minutes. But it is recommended to play with it on the charger so you can get peak performance and with that you can upgrade the ddr5 ram! From 8gb to 64gb. Overall this laptop is 8.5/10 This is a personal opinion and it is always recommended to watch a videos about products as it'll give you a great retrospective of it

Good for a lot of simple games struggles with high end games like arc raiders but for people looking to get into pc gaming or just looking for something to take on the go it’s a good product for its price range

My daughter loved her present of this laptop this year. It runs great. I didn't pay attention when ordering it, I thought it was black but it was gray and the keys are blue. I have an MSI and its black with red backlight. So it was nice to see a change, tried to trade her but it was a hard no.

I’ve had this for about two months now and it’s fantastic it’s quick it’s reliable and durable. It also have solid battery life. Definitely worth the money especially for new students and light gamers.
