My old Arris went out after a lightning strike near my home. The Netgear modem has been reliable so far and allows me to upgrade my service to the one gig internet speed

I upped my internet speed and the modem I had was not capable of handling the faster speed. I was offered 4 different modems to choose from and chose the Netgear NightHawk CM 2500. Glad I did, no buffering.

I've been using this modem for my work-from-home setup, and it's been great. Setup was quick and easy, and I was online within minutes. I also liked being able to grab it in-store instead of waiting for shipping. I use it 8+ hours a day for meetings, uploads, and streaming, and the speeds stay consistent. If you have a high-speed internet plan, this modem can definitely keep up. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our old modem stopped being supported by Spectrum and would eventually start to drop the signal. I picked this model up as it's supported, and the signal has been perfect.

I purchased this NETGEAR modem to replace the Spectrum‑issued unit after repeated connection dropouts on our gig‑speed service. We run multiple Xbox consoles and several TVs simultaneously, and this modem has handled the load flawlessly. It also integrates seamlessly with our existing NETGEAR mesh system. Since installing it, we haven’t experienced a single dropout, lag spike, or interruption while streaming or gaming online. The modem offers more configuration options than we’ll likely ever need, but considering the performance and price, it’s an excellent value. Setup was straightforward; the only delay came from waiting on Spectrum to send their verification code and activate the device on their network. Once that step was completed, everything worked immediately. Overall, this modem has been a reliable and worthwhile upgrade.

Purchased S34 thinking it was going to be better!! Arris S34 lasted 30 days, constantly overheated, dropped signal and would not keep a profile. Returned and got this one… ZERO ISSUES. This modem runs my planned speeds and has been flawless !! BUY IT !!

A really nice looking modem.It runs cooler than my other modem.The other one was a netgear modem.I like the extra Ethernet port on it.It future proofs me,and I noticed my internet connection is faster with less latency.

Modem works super well, customer service is great. Looked through yhe reviews before purchasing and it seems like the bad reviews are from the ignorant ppl that didn’t do research on how to actually use the modem rather than renting from an ISP. Works absolutely amazing with the ORBI wifi 7 router. No complaints at all other than having to configure the network myself which is great because you can control everything yourself

This cable modem works great with my Spectrum Internet service and the setup was easy. Great item! Upgraded from a Netgear CM1000 which was working good, but definitely would recommend to others who are looking to take advantage of faster Internet speeds.

Easy to install. It replaces the cable modem from you carrier, so you save the monthly fee. Then I added a mesh wi fi router and have great coverage everywhere in the home Upstairs, main floor and finished basement , even the patio and driveway which is desirable for the security cameras.

after 8 months now no problems so i would say this is a good cable modem . comcast tried to blame the low speed 200 Mbps on netgear but the tech at netgear proved to me by the report it was comcast not the cable modem. so comcast had to do some tweeking on there end blaming the equipment not there stuff for the low speed so the internet tech had to fix after a few nightmares they did and still getting 1000 Mbps after comcast did there thing .

The modem was easy to connect to Xfinity service and immediately boosted the speed by 80% over my old modem. Has been working well for over two months.

I purchased this to replace a Motorola modem I had for 15yrs. It was great and kept me running with no issues. However it was time to upgrade and this modem is so much faster. Currently I have it paired with a nighthawk WiFi 6 router so far no issue and setup was a breeze with the Xfinity app.

Increased speeds by A LOT, we would still be stuck at 150mbps if we didn’t switch to this. Set up wasn’t the easiest either due to xfinity acting up or just bad luck.

Description: Second one of this unit works well. Had it connected and working within 10 minutes. That follows purchase of a defective unit on which I wasted over 10 hours on the phone with four Netgear analysts, four ISP analysts and a $100 visit by my ISP, only to be told my internet connection was fine and the modem was defective. I wish I had gone back to Best Buy before all that. Best Buy took it back and gave me a new one with no questions asked. Really appreciate that. Netgear has done nothing for me, in spite of being supplied the information in this review.

From opening the box to setting everything up took less then 5 mins. Everything was smooth sailing. No hassle whatsoever. Our internet is way much faster with this modem.
