I bought this OKAI e-scooter because my friend has one. Good looking & good quality. Easy to control & speed up. The most unique part is the LED light bars, you can change light through the app. Pretty cool. The price is very reasonable as well.

Very good scooter and battery life. 20mph is pretty fast on a scooter. My girlfriend has the kqi2 and loves it. Feels very solid and not like a toy. Would recommend

In love with this slick looking Escooter! The neon light makes it the coolest thing at night. Really fun easy and smooth riding experience. The best part — it’s foldable and can be easily put into the trunk of a small car. Highly recommend as a Xmas gift!!

This Okai Neon Lite is able to go 15 mph in the sport mode. I purchased this for my spouse of smaller size, and she has no desire to go faster than that. Unable to test the full range, but do need perfect weather and no inclines to reach per the manual. Did some reviews and this thing is far better than the competition; we preferred the rubber tires instead of the solid. Overall a fun experience and highly recommend for leisure- for travel to work I recommend the Okai Pro.

Perfect scooter for riding around the city and discovering new places to relax. Charges fast and looks sleek. I will say if you’re over a certain weight threshold the battery life is not as good as stated, but that’s to be expected.

Great scooter not too heavy and the light bar looks really nice. The different ride modes add a nice variety as well. Very nice that it can fold too

This is a good purchase if you are looking for an electric scooter and it's your 1st time. Quick and easy to assemble. It holds a charge well. States 18 miles which is at least an hour of continuous usage. Goes up to 20 mph. Scooter options such as lights, lock can be controlled via phone app. Easy to use overall.

So it's a great little scooter, definitely hits the speeds it lists. My main complaint is really the battery life/ max distance. At about a full load (passenger and baggage) of 195lbs, a 5 mile ride nets me about 60% battery usage, leaving a middling 40% left. So I would say that about another 2/3 miles or so. So the 18.6 miles it suggest as the range, really looks more like 7-9. Any scooter I see, I now assume to cut the range in half. With that said. The speed is perfectly fine at 15.5mph, and it's really light to maneuver. I like the breaks, and the ride feels pretty solid. Anywhere you're looking to go in about an hour's walking distance, assuming it's flat, this scooter will take you there and back and be nearly the full battery. I am swapping out for the pro model, just because I would like to make longer trips, and not worry about the battery, or about handling hills.

I bought this scooter for my teenage daughter as a replacement for a scooter that died after 4 months(different brand). She uses it for a 1.3-mile commute from the ferry to school, 5 days a week. Honestly, I picked this scooter primarily because it was available to be picked up the same day her other scooter died (leaving her stranded at school). The reviews were good and I discovered Okai makes e-bikes and scooters for ride-sharing and has earned a reputation for being reliable. Since I was buying this for a teenager who would be traveling through Manhattan every day I didn't want to go too high-end which might make her a target for thieves. I also wanted a scooter that was lightweight so she could carry it up a couple of flights of stairs at school. I love the look of this scooter. The neon lite down the front post helps me identify her when I pick her up from the ferry in the evening. The scooter is sturdy and she says it is very comfortable to ride. My only small criticisms are that the battery life isn't great. The battery has to be fully recharged after about 10 miles, and the app that comes with the scooter doesn't like the cold and can be a little glitchy. Other than that we are happy with it so far. As long as it turns on and gets her to school I'll be a faithful customer: considering an upgrade to the Neon plus if this one outlasts her old scooter.

5 Stars with a caveat... Got this scooter delivered on Friday, I've ridden it all weekend, and think that now would be a good time to leave a review. First, it's awesome! Literally the most fun I've had in a while. I live in an urban beach neighborhood so the speed limits here are low and parking is a pain. Using a scooter makes it super easy to just run to any of the neighborhood stores real quick without having to worry about traffic/parking, etc. Very easy to put together and start riding. The ride is smooth, 15mph is more than fast enough, and the build quality is solid. Honestly, it feels premium which is nice considering the low price. The headlight is bright, the tail light is bright, and the RGB LED strip on the front adds a nice touch of customization. Now for the bad. The 18.6 mi range is imaginary... Maybe if I weighed 20 pounds and kept it in efficiency mode (9mph) I might get close, but the reality is I'm almost 200 pounds, and I obviously want to push 15mph in performance mode. A round trip to Walgreens (8 blocks each way) and a round trip to Dunkin Donuts (15 blocks each way), and the battery is less than 50% by the time I get home. I say that to say if you're debating on the Neon Lite and the Neon Lite II, go with the II. Unless you're going to be making extremely short trips and don't mind charging your scooter multiple times a day, the extra $150 will likely be well worth it. My only other complaint is going to be the lack of available accessories/replacement parts. I was thinking maybe I can purchase a spare battery to swap out and get some extra range in between charging, but so far that doesn't look like it will be possible. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase, but do wish it was specified that the 18.6 mile range is really more like 8 or 9. Had I known that I likely would have spent the extra money on the next step up. My future experiences with OKAI Customer Service will determine if my next scooter will be from them, or maybe someone else with accessories available for purchase.

What a neat electric scooter . Loved the fact that it had a head light as well as neon lighting along the vertical handle for safety . Easy to put together and foldable . The charge is good 18 mi plus, and the speed a good 15 mph+ .This was a gift but I wish i purchased two of them , one to give and another for me to play with !!

I TOTALLY understand the appeal of the scooter. Dont get me wrong when i say its okay. It has alright battery and alright speed. At the end of the day its a good introduction to e anything reslly. I think this is for someone who is maybe 16 or older and wants to go to school nesrby. Its not breaking budgets for teens but it also gives them a great amount of liberty. Down sides the app isnt consistant. Its heavy but to be expected. And this specific model isnt worth since there is a newer one for the exact price. Alos the buld quality is great. But what kills me is that there has to be a better way ticharge it. Mine tipped over snd instsntly broke the charger. Also i think this is good for the price. I got it for 400 usd. Good quality cool light good tires not so many features but what matter the motor is good. It wont blow you away with a too soeed of 15.5. But itll get your hesrt punping if your in for a thirll. 3/5 because its good hut the app and charging reslly disapponted me. And the installtiok isn’t so esasy cause of sensity parts that maybe someone. Not so knowledgeable could essly break and have thier scooter not work out of the box.
