See more imagesMy last Android phone was an LG V30; it was lovely. The OnePlus 12R, however, offers an excellent price-to-performance ratio. Running on Android 14 with its polished OxygenOS, the performance is outstanding. It’s a pretty amazing product, deserving 4 out of 5 stars—the highest rating I can give. However, there are a few drawbacks. One notable issue is the lack of a microSD slot, so make sure to choose the correct storage capacity before making a purchase. On the plus side, if you require multiple lines, this phone supports an eSIM and has a tray for two additional physical SIM cards. T-Mobile customers, though, may face issues activating the eSIM card.

The OnePlus 12R is quite possibly the best midrange/budget phone in the market. The value for its price is fantastic. Performance/Power: In terms of performance/power, the 12R is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processing chip. In other words, it's powered by the same chip that powered several $1000+ flagship phones of 2023 (like the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra). Let that sink in - you're basically getting the performance/power of a 2023 $1000+ flagship device for a fraction of the price! The phone will be largely faster than its competitors in the budget/midrange market. And it'll certainly handle gaming much better - giving performance on par with some more expensive flagship devices. Despite being a processing chip from 2023 (which wasn't even that long ago yet), the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 still packs a punch. Not to mention that it's also incredibly efficient! Battery: Speaking of efficiency, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and the phone's large 5500mah battery complement each other perfectly to give this phone excellent battery life. This phone can easily go a day or two with light to medium use. And the battery also held up well during prolonged periods of heavy gaming with graphically demanding games like Genshin Impact on its highest settings. The phone can also charge faster than the most expensive phones from Samsung, Apple, Google, etc. with its 100 watt charging speed when using the included charging brick and cable. Oh, did I forget to mention that the phone comes with a charging brick and cable? Not even the $1000+ devices from the biggest companies include the charging brick anymore. Camera: When it comes to the camera, it's fairly decent. Nothing amazing, but nothing terrible, either. If you want professional, magazine quality photos that the most expensive phones can give, then this may be a deal breaker for you. But if premium quality photos aren't a huge priority, then the OnePlus 12R can definitely get the job done. If you just want to take simple pics of your pets, some nice scenery, your food, etc., and not do a whole professional photoshoot, then the camera is more than serviceable. Conclusion: Overall, the phone is packed with specs and features that make it a great value purchase. None of the big companies like Samsung, Apple, or Google can provide the same performance at this price point. In my opinion, the 12R is a game changer that will hopefully push companies to innovate and improve their products. Thank you for reading.

5/5 Stars - Flagship Performance at a Fraction of the Price! I just picked up the OnePlus 12R during the Black Friday sale, and I'm blown away by the value! With the $100 discount, this phone is an absolute no-brainer for anyone looking for flagship performance without breaking the bank. The 12R's performance is incredibly smooth, thanks to the powerful processor and ample RAM. The display is vibrant and responsive, making it perfect for gaming and watching videos. The battery life is also impressive, easily lasting a day and a half with heavy use. My only gripes are that the cameras are just average, especially when it comes to zooming and low-light photography. Don't get me wrong, they're not bad by any means, but they don't quite live up to the standards set by other flagships. Additionally, the accessory options for the 12R are a bit limited, which might be a bummer for some users. However, considering the price point, I'm more than willing to overlook these minor drawbacks. The OnePlus 12R is an incredible value, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful, affordable smartphone. Pros: - Flagship performance at a fraction of the price - Smooth and responsive display - Impressive battery life - $100 Black Friday discount was the icing on the cake! Cons: - Average cameras, especially in low-light and zooming situations - Limited accessory options

I’ve been using the OnePlus 12R for a few weeks now, and I am genuinely impressed! This phone offers everything you’d expect from a flagship device but at a much more reasonable price. Performance: The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor is blazing fast, and paired with 16GB of RAM), multitasking is seamless. Whether I’m gaming, streaming, or juggling apps, the phone doesn’t stutter or lag at all. Display: The 6.78-inch AMOLED display is stunning! It’s sharp, vibrant, and incredibly smooth thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate. Watching videos or playing games feels immersive, and the brightness outdoors is excellent too. Battery & Charging: This is one of my favorite parts. The 5,500mAh battery easily lasts me all day, and the 100W charging is a total game-changer. I can charge from nearly 0 to full in about 25 minutes – it’s unbelievably fast and super convenient. Camera: The 50MP main camera takes great shots with accurate colors and solid detail. Low-light performance is better than I expected for this price. While it’s not the absolute best camera on the market, it’s more than enough for everyday photography. Build & Design: The phone feels premium in hand. It has a solid build, a sleek look,

This phone rocks! I have had it for 3 months now and it's as fast as the day I set it up. The battery life on phones can be great for the first month, but then dip off. With this phone it can go 2 days of normal use (not a ton of gaming) on one charge. The performance is also great, I cloud stream games a lot and I don't run into any overheating or stuttering. Way better than my previous phone. I don't use the camera often, but it gets the job done.

Great Android phone. OnePlus products are great and hold their own in comparison to the major flagship models. Snappy and easy to navigate. The only issues is they've locked the clock color for all number 1's being RED. That's not desirable. Also, you cannot get rid of the Google news page or have continuous, carousel swiping. All in all a good phone for the money.

For the Week i've had this item it's been a massive upgrade from my 2023 Moto G Pure. It takes beautiful pictures, and the CPU in it allows me to play a couple mobile games my old phone could not even install. Feels solid in my hands, great product. My only minor complaint is that it does not have an SD Card slot, so you can't expand the memory on it, but with the base model having 128 GB of space, that's not a big deal at all, but I can see it being a problem for some,

Everything as it says and 2 sim slots. Display is amazing and it's speed is one of the fastest. Only problem would be it's weird light camera and front view flexibility but good camera regardless.

The OnePlus 12R offers excellent performance, a stunning 6.78" AMOLED 120Hz display, and outstanding battery life with super-fast charging. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, it handles multitasking and gaming smoothly. The main camera takes good photos, though overall camera performance is not flagship-level. It lacks wireless charging and full waterproofing, but delivers great value for its price. A strong choice if you want speed, display quality, and battery power without paying flagship prices.

I needed this phone because of the fast charging of 80w. It's over all a great phone. The one con is that the fingerprint sensor is optical.

I bought this phone because the Pixel 6 I own had a tendency to overheat and the battery started to degrade. So far, so good. Good battery life. Nice display. I have not taken many pictures yet so I won't comment on the camera.
