Love this. Bought after much searching. Wanted best bang for the buck. Needed to be used inside and outside. Plenty bright. Great picture. I use with old 5.1 computer speaker system. Internal speaker not good for movie effects. Works in a pinch.

Bought after reviewing many projectors. Wanted for outdoor use primarily. Very bright and clear picture. Portable and easy setup. Internal speaker is ok but use 5.1 system from computer. No complaints. Great purchase.

After hours of research I decided on the Optoma HD27. Easy setup and very bright even in eco mode. I have it ceiling mounted with a 92 inch white silver ticket screen. Excellent picture quality out of the box. We use it for watching movies and sports. 3-D quality is very good with dlp link glasses. The only drawbacks are limited throw ratio making installation a little challenging and the fan is a little noisy but not terrible-not noticeable when the movie gets going. Built in speaker is convenient but I would suggest the use of a good quality surround system.

I reviewed several HD projectors in person and online. The one's that I viewed in person were HD 4k and were in the cost range of $3k-$5k. Way out of my price range. Then I reviewed the Optoma HD27 online since I could not visually see it in action. I took a chance and it turned out to be a great projector. I also bought a soundbar with with wireless sub to use and it works great. The only adjustment I had to make was to setup the cable TV and BluRay Smart player separate for the sound. I used the Optical connection for the Cable and the digital connection for the Blu-ray since it did not have an Optical out. For the price it is by far the best choice for a home theatre. I am projecting a 12 foot diagonal screen across our living room wall and it is great.

The HD26 was very easy to setup. I was up and running watching movies in less than 10 minutes. The picture is very nice and the feature set is good. The projector provides a great image in all aspects. The video quality is great for the price.Great resolution and colors. Bright, easy to see with daylight, Small size, lightweight, nice look.

This is my first projector, I have been waiting for years to buy one, this one has everything I was waiting for, (full HD and 3D) and the price is a real deal, I just used it once but it really exceeded my expectations, You don't need to have a dark room and is really easy to use, the only problem I had was that the cheomecast was not working but you just need to turn on the usb, I will update when I use the 3D.

the optoma DLP projector has great color brightness over the old In-focus projector. Easy set-up and install instructions. The screen size was too large for the 16ft movie room but was able to move the projector closer (12ft) and worked nicely to fit on the screen

Great picture, clarity and brightness. Thought about getting a new TV but that would have been a mistake. My screen is 120 inches, movies are much more immersive.

I had another projector before this one. It was load, the light was dim, and the resolution was awful. I decided to sell it to get this one and WOW. What an improvement. For this price you can't go wrong with this bright 1080p projector. Do it! Add to cart! It's worth it!

It's a good projector with a good quality of image. The only problem is that unless you have the perfect spot for it, it's hard to make a perfect shape of the projection, since the keystone options are very limited.

This projector worked fine but I had to return due to the lack of horizontal tilt. Lack of that feature means you can’t place it at an angle, you have to place it directly in front of the wall/screen you are projecting onto. NYC apartment renters will know how difficult it can be to set that up cleanly and efficiently. Aside from that, it had all the standard features you’d expect from a projector and the price was reasonable.

the picture is detailed when you have HD or 4K cable box or 4K fire box, there is a rainbow trail I see when all the lights are off and it's a dark scene with flashes of white.while the picture it self is not 4k it is super sharp.
