If you are planning to get the Oura Ring 4, do not try to guess your size based on standard jewelry or previous versions. The sizing for the 4 is completely unique, and this kit is the only way to get it right. The Strategy: The best advice I can give is to wear the plastic test rings for a full 24 hours, including while you sleep and workout. Your fingers swell and shrink throughout the day. I was initially convinced I was a Size 11 because it felt comfortable instantly, but after spending more time with the kit, I realized the Size 10 was the better fit. You want it snug enough so the sensors always touch your skin, but not so tight it gets stuck. The Value: Since Best Buy gives you a credit for the cost of this kit toward the actual ring purchase, there is literally no reason not to get it. It saves you the headache of having to mail back the actual ring for an exchange later. Verdict: It’s a simple plastic kit, but it’s a mandatory part of the process. Trust the kit, wear the sizers for a full day, and you’ll get the perfect fit.

This is a must before purchasing the oura ring. Wearing different size rings during the day and overnight makes you aware of how your fingers may swell from time to time. Really helps to identify which fingers the oura ring fits on the best. I also took a ring that was well fitting and placed it on one of the sizes, to assist with my decision.

Definitely needed and worth it before purchasing! I winged it and bought my normal size at first then had to return it and buy a sizing kit... They give you a $10 gift card to put towards the purchase of the ring (or anything in the store).

Fits well, and I like the comfort of it also. Nice to be able to monitor sleep and health. Had a little flu and the ring picked up that I wasn't at my best. Crazy!

Don’t skip this important step. I wish I had gone a few more days. REVIEW At first, I was skeptical on the value of the ring kit. It was very helpful in finding the right finger and size. For example, I started with a size 11 and my left index finger. Overnight, I guess my fingers swell up a little, and the #11 was uncomfortable and I could not easily remove it, so I went to a size 12 which fit a lot better. Because I was leaving on a trip shortly, I called it good enough and ordered the #12. I wish I spent more time with the ring kit. As I went through my daily routines for a week with the real ring, I came to hate it on my Left Index Finger. I only had one other finger that fit, and that was my right middle finger. I would suggest that you take at least a full week to make sure that you give the ring a test run in all your situations. In my case I had only tested in on a weekend where I had nothing going on. As the week progressed, I found the ring getting in the way of a lot of things. RECOMMENDATION 100% recommend you get and use this sizing kit for at least a week before investing so much on a ring and not being perfectly happy.

The sizing kit was very useful. I recommend following the instructions. In particular: 1. If you are in between sizes, picking the smaller size -> I’m so glad I picked the smaller size because the larger size ended up falling off my finger while doing a load of laundry! 2. Making a fist and making sure there’s no gap -> Even picking the smaller size, I still see a small gap, but certainly less than the bigger size. From what I read, picking the right size ensures you get more accurate measurements and, so far, the Oura ring measurements shown in the app seem pretty accurate. 3. Wearing the temporary rings in the sizing kit for a few days -> This was key. I originally did not think this was necessary but it is! I actually was undecided about which finger to wear the ring on, and therefore I had 3 potential sizes. At first I thought to pick the largest of the 3 so I can wear it on multiple fingers as needed. However, the largest fell off my finger while putting the clothes in the washing machine! I then went on a hike and took the other 2 sizes. Fingers tend to swell at different times of the day, and I could feel that especially when hiking. I thought this meant I would most likely pick the larger size for comfort. In the end, this ended up not being the case. While the larger size could be a tad more comfortable sometimes, the majority of time, the small one feels fine and hugs my finger better, not falling easily when taking a shower, swimming, or washing my hands for example. But most importantly, the Ring website mentions the measurements are more accurate when the ring touches all the surface of your finger even when making a fist. I am happy I chose the smaller one. Having said that, make sure to choose something that is comfortable to you, because if you do choose something too small that ends up hurting your finger, you will end up not using it.

The Oura 5 Ring sizing kit is the first step in getting the perfect match for your Oura 5 ring. The kit arrived within 4 days of placing the order, and contains 8 rings, whole sizes from 6 through 13. The sizing rings are nearly exact replicas of the Oura ring, to include the sensor bumps on the inside band and nearly the same weight. My kitchen scale isn't sensitive enough to accurately measure these light weight rings, but directionally my Oura ring weighed in at 0.07 oz and the sizing ring weighed in at 0.04 oz, so close enough to be a realistic representation of the fit.  The goal is to wear the sizing ring for a few days, make sure it's comfortable throughout day to day activities to include any activities that may make your fingers swell or times the ring could be loose such as swimming. After this period, scan the QR code on the box the rings came in, select your size and color and wait for your ring to show up. I love that this kit gives you the confidence to order the ring, knowing exactly how it will fit when it arrives.

The Oura Ring sizing kit is the perfect example for this as it helps you understand the size and comfort before buying. PROS: - It comes in 8 different sizes which helps you really get a good understanding of what size works best. - It’s nice that the sizing rings are the exact size, shape, and weight of the Oura Ring 5 so you can get used to its fit and feel. - I wore mine for a couple of days to really get the size I think I wanted the most and that was helpful. CONS: - Literally nothing, this sizing kit does exactly what it’s intended to do. BOTTOM LINE: - The purpose of this sizing kit is to really understand the right fit for you before purchasing and I thought it worked great. Now that I own an Oura Ring 5, I can say that the sizing kit was a 1 to 1 replica of them and really did not have any surprises or changes (besides of course the make, finish, functionality) and that was a nice feature to have. I think its a very useful kit!

The Oura ring sizing kit for OURA Ring 4 is pretty straight forward. It comes in a nice secure package that has ring sizes from 4-15. They are very durable plastic ring molds that mimic the Oura ring with its nodes and grooves. If you are looking to purchase an Oura ring, this kit is a must have to ensure you have the right size. For me I initially thought I would want a size 12, but after the recommended 24 hours I was more comfortable with a size 13. The main reason being is my activities and the snugness when doing activities felt uncomfortable at a size 12. I switched out to a size 13 and my finger did not have any discomfort at all. Testing out the ring, I would advise prospective buyers to do your normal routines and then some other activities. I mowed the lawn, cleaned the garage and even swam with it. These differetn activities gave me the idea of how my hands would swell and decrease. Nothing worse than an over snug ring when you are swollen from working outside in the heat.
