About this product

The present is a wonderful concert by Mohammad Rezâ Shadjariân, master of Persian classical singing, both composer and performer at the same time inspired improvisation, poems chosen with great taste, subtle instrumental accompaniment. Traditional Iranian music is a message, a call from the artist's inmost consciousness, which is tightly linked to his age-old history and culture. Poetry is regarded so highly by Iranians that music is often accompanied by sung poems (by Ferdowsi, Mowlavi, Saadi, Hâfez, Bâbâ Taher, Khayam etc.). The technique of Persian singing is very complex, and while it is of great subtlety, it demands great physical force and support -The singer improvises ornaments and vocalizations in a form of singing, free and arhythmic, the beauty of which depends on his sensitivity, mood, and enthusiasm and depth of the performance. Album Tracks 1. Pish Darâmad InchGol NushInch 2. Darâmad Afshari, Djâmeh Darân, DÂD, Muyeh 3. TCHÂR Mezrâb InchDel-AnguizânInch 4. Erâgh, Nahib, Hazine, Rohâb, Foroud 5. The classical guitarist is normally imagined as a solitary figure performing on stage. We think of Andres Segovia appearing as a soloist for over 80 years.. But guitarists have not only been soloists. As a teenager, Segovia himself was a member of a Inchpulso y puaInch ensemble of lauds and bandurrias, the Quinteto Albeniz, and he commissioned concertos and chamber works from contemporary composers. Volume 15 of Segovia and His Contemporaries presents the live 1939 world premiere of the maestro performing Castelnuovo-Tedesco's Concerto in D. This historic broadcast is buttressed by rare recordings of the Trio Albeniz, Angel Barrios' Cuarteto Iberia, German Lago's Orquesta Ibérica de Madrid, and Francisco Collado's' Orquesta Guitarristica. Album Tracks 1. The Guitar in Spain, Part 3 1930 - 1939, Orchestral & Chamber 2. Guitar Concerto No. 1 in D Major, Op. 99 3. En Gel Generife 4. Rondeña 5. Villancico 6. El Avapiés 7.
