The DMH-2000NEX is compatible with steering wheel controls. You can use the iDatalink Maestro interface. to retain factory features. There are also other manufacturers that sell basic steering wheel control adapter. Best Buy or your professional installer will have information on these.

It's a pioneer nice radio. I installed it myself with no problem using the idatalink harness accessories.I just wish I have got the 7-in screen radio instead of the 6.8.

I love having Android auto and apple car play for navigation in my old Honda car. The sound quality is great and with HD radio, just listening to the radio is better than ever. The sound adjustment is also great with a thirteen band EQ and adjustment to you seating preferences. I also like the Web Link to mirror my phone and watch You tube videos< or whatever is on your phone. It's a great upgrade for me and I am very happy with it.

Stereo sounds great! easy to use!! Except the climate controls don't operate correctly. When you raise or lower the temp. It goes to either fully hot or fully cold>> Otherwise a good unit!

Please have the installer check the interface adapter. I suspect it is one from iDatalink. They will need to flash the programming again. This should resolve the climate control issue.
Also update the firmware on the DMH-2000NEX. The update is posted on our support page.

It work seamlessly and respond quick it only con would be the cable connections sometimes it won't connect but it not something persistent it happens only once in a while and has a good sound quality

Quick, responsive head unit. Volume "bottoms" are sometimes a little more sensitive than I'd prefer but overall this is a really nice mid-level head unit. Does everything I want from it including HD radio, Apple Car Play, and backup camera. Screen is plenty bright even directly in the sun, unlike many of the Sony units I've tried.

The time is set by the GPS satellites. You need to make sure the antenna is securely connected.
You can check the connection status in the menu.
Press the gear icon
Select System Settings
Scroll down and select Connection Status
For GPS antenna, it should say "OK" and you should see at least 4 of the red satellites.

Soud is excellent but have had to go back 3 times to get the installation right. In retrospect , probably would have been worth it to pay more for the wireless carplay/android auto option To BestBuy credit they are fixing it (or scheduled to fix) but the lack of installers locally means this took about 3 months to resolve at a store that is further than the most convenient store
