The Pioneer A-Series 10 in. 1,300-Watt Dual Voice-Coil Subwoofer is designed to purposely match A-Series loudspeakers to provide seamless and smooth sound characteristics with dynamic, high impact bass that lets you hear and feel the music. Linear, balanced motion in both the forward and reverse directions of cone movement is critical to accurate reproduction of recorded sound waves. Careful engineering of the entire motor structure and suspension system (voice coil, magnet, surround and spider) of this A-Series subwoofer is required maintain a high level of linearity, even during high output/high excursion transients. The Pioneer A Series of Shallow Mount Subwoofers uses a highly rigid cone made with MICA injected molded resin which creates a rigid and durable cone. This gives it the ability to produce accurate bass. The TS-A2000LD2 8 in. shallow mount subwoofer has multiple, patent-pending features that deliver the big bass performance of a full size subwoofer, but in a compact design that can be installed either behind or under seats, depending on the type of vehicle.
