The trade-off is low end. Bass is audibly stronger in 2-channel, so whether the spatial imaging is worth it depends on what you listen to — though a little EQ narrows the gap. Source material is the real limitation. Apple Music handles Atmos well, but the catalog still leans heavily toward major-label and chart artists. Broader spatial support on YouTube would change the picture entirely. Four stars rather than five for one reason: the Bluetooth connection drops during wireless playback. That aside, this is a strong system.

Like I understand it's the first to have Dolby atmos so let mark up the price but Dolby atmos for music isn't that great. Almost every Dolby atmos sound I've heard has lost its depth to its music. And then it's only offered in this size is way too big for my car which that's on me for buying it but I really had high hopes for this unit and wanted to get it regardless. But I'm sure you can get all the same quality and features in a much cheaper unit.
