Game is incredibly fun! Bought it for half of what it would normally sell for.

This game is such a fun nostalgia trip! I love it soo much. The chibi art style really grew on me. I love how cute & tiny all the characters look. 10/10 game :).

If you loved Diamond version for the 3DS, you’ll absolutely love this remake. You will spend a lot of time mining believe me. The new mining aspect of the game is really fun. Everything looks really nice in this one too. Highly recommend.

My first impressions were overall good, but the more i played the less excited i was. The game looks great, the art and scenes are well done, its the gameplay that is underwhelming.

Thoroughly enjoyed it! Really like the animation style here, I hope Pokémon makes more games like this, with the top down camera and tiny humanoids like the original games! I wanted to play it x2 Thank you

Even though DP is extremely flawed and even though Bdsp inherits all or most of the same flaws as DP I think it was a half decent way to revisit the past, I think Best Buy even offers revised sealed copies of Brilliant Diamond. With that being said the reason this remake wasn’t that good is because this sinnoh remake was held back significantly by the fact that it was a remake of the worse and most flawed iteration of sinnoh being Diamond and Pearl instead of a remake of platinum. Most of us wanted a Diamond and Pearl remake under the condition that it would be more like platinum because platinum was what truly redeemed sinnoh, heck most of us would have preferred it more if they had just remade platinum instead. Diamond and Pearl lost their purpose the moment Platinum was created this it made no sense to remake the worst version of the sinnoh trilogy of games.

If you are looking for a 1:1 remake of the orginal Pokemon Diamond game with some quality of life updates, this is it! Follows the exact game mechanics and storyline as the original, just with updated chibi-style graphics. There's one new optional area that's been added to help the player catch rarer pokemon, which can be a help given the dearth of fire-types in the game. A charming and enjoyable experience (though not necessarily a particularly difficult one), whether you are a long-time pokemon trainer or a newcomer to the series.

Nostalgia, Is probably the best way to put it. In my opinion it's a great remake despite glitches. I beat it within 3 days of launch but it starts out relatively easy compared the the original then progressively gets harder (like with most games), Cynthia is way more competitively sound than the original and provided a nice challenge. This was the first time since yellow I actually used/needed all 6 on my team (with appropriate levels)

Great game and a great remake. A lot of people didnt like the Chibi style but it really isnt that bad and it definitely grows on you. All in all a beautiful game with great quality of life improvements. If youre a pokemon fan you will like this game. Worth picking up.

Nostalgia at its finest. Everthing you ever loved about the original DS games with updated graphics and an improved Underground. I was skeptical about buying this at first, but have not regretted it since, this was the game that originally made me truly love Pokémon and the remake is perfect.

Brilliant diamond was fun to revisit. I was disappointed by the easy of the game, battle tower, and lack of Platinum dex but other than that is was great. The graphics are cute and it’s great that we no longer need to use HM’s. I would recommend this game to anyone of any age.

It's a pretty solid game. The last pokemon game I played was Platinum many years ago. I'm not an avid player or die hard fan it got me hooked for like a good 15 hours I would say. Take your time to enjoy the game or go speedrun it if you want. The walking through a short patch of grass and running into 3 pokemon irked me real good though. Also, there's a child waiting to fight you every step of the way, try to avoid them or you will get irritated very quickly.
