Extremely fun game to play. You don't need to play the first one in order to play and enjoy this game. Very challenging and enjoyable.

Got this as a christmas present for the kids and while I was hesitant to play, my son got me playing co-op/split screen and it's riot! a few glitches here and there and we're actually stuck on a level - which is frustrating, yet, at the same time, you are driven to solve it! - but overall, this is a solid, entertaining puzzle game with cool graphics, a bit of sly humor and loads of fun. Recommended!

If you've been living under a rock for the last 10 years, you might have missed out on Portal but no fear, this version is awesome. I originally played this on the PC and was worried about it but they did this game justice in the port. Seriously, if you haven't played Portal and don't have a PC to run, you must go out and buy this. This game will challenge your brain and make you think. The idea is to move through the level and only using a portal gun to get around obstacles. The game will be challenging but is rewarding. The story is amazing and can be down right funny at times. Valve is an amazing game company and this game is a shining star for them. If you play, find the rat king.

If you've played the first portal, you may have been disappointed by how short it was. Well, Portal 2 fixes that while keeping every moment fun and funny through its characters and plot. Its got some great head-scratchers, and, in my opinion, the graphics hold up to this day (but maybe I'm just used to the Source engine). Robust single player experience and a co-op (both local splitscreen and online multiplayer) makes the game very great. Replay value may be somewhat lacking, but I can guarantee that, once you come back to the game a couple years after beating it, you'll have forgotten all the puzzles and all the dialogue, so it's all worth it in the end.

Such a creative game. The story line is hilarious in both 1- and 2-player modes and the puzzles really keep you engaged.

This is I mind game all the way, lots of thinking your moves through. Fun for adults and kids alike.

I like this game. It's not a shooter, or an RPG, or anything more than a simple puzzle game at heart, but it keeps me occupied for hours.

We have enjoyed playing this game. We had never played portal before so getting up to speed was a little difficult.

I bought this game on a whim because it was a Greatest Hits - I spent $20 and have no problem recommending it. I was skeptical but the actual storyline and characters involved are entertaining, witty, funny, etc. - Stephen Merchant does a fantastic job as Wheatley and made me laugh out loud on several occasions. The game itself is one of the most fun I have played in a while. It is, of course, a puzzle game, where one trigger fires an "in" portal and the other trigger fires an "out" portal. The concept and mechanics involved are very original and intriguing, such as using an "in" portal at the bottom of a pit to launch you through the air via the "out" portal and reach a higher up location, etc. The object is basically to complete all the puzzle rooms to escape a killer machine, etc. Go buy it. You will not regret it.

This is a great game that combines challenging puzzles and a humorous storyline throughout. You wont be blown away with the audio or graphical prowess but that's not really the point of this game anyway so it's easily excusable.

Great game, unfortunately can not play "LAN" with this game using Sony PlayStation. So we were not able to play using 2 ps3 each hooked up to different TVs on the same network.

My boys asked for this multiplayer game so they could team up. They enjoy solving how to teleport. It is a challenging yet fun game.

My son bought this game. It's great, puzzle type game, and a great alternative to all the 1st person shooter games out there.
