This works as designed. The sous vide bath stayed within a degree or two on my new Cafe cooktop. I can retire my Anova setup which will free up a lot of space for me. I'll keep that for larger cooks. The one thing I was curious about was changing from a circulator to a temperature controlled pot, but seems OK so far. Note that it came with a network (Wi-Fi + Bluetooth) interface for the cooktop, but I already had one which came with the cooktop to support the included Hestan Cue pan. So that's an extra useless piece for me. Also: Best Buy insisted that I had to arrange an appointment for an "installation". There was no way to tell them how dumb that was, no way to get through to them by phone (several hangups and promised callbacks that never happened) but at least the "installer" knew to just hand me the little package and be on his way.

We haven't had a lot of experience with this unit yet, but when we've used it, it's worked fine. For those who make candies, chocolates, etc., the ability to monitor and control temperatures is necessary, and really has been one of the promises of induction that's now realized with this probe.

Didn't work with my cafe induction cook top. Just bought a sousvide instead. It might work for yours. Do your homework first, so far all my cafe appliances have been great. Lol sad this didn't work out

Total waste of money. Total Tech has been out 5-6 times trying to get it to work correctly, still doesn't work.

Works aw advertised and very cool to control your range with a phone.
