The Proctor Silex® Countertop Double Electric Burner has a 1000 watt burner for fast cooking – it will boil 5 cups of water in 15 minutes or less – and a 700 watt burner that's perfect for simmering and warming foods. With adjustable temperature control on each burner, you can easily boil water for coffee or tea or prepare a meal on one side, while warming a side dish on the other. The double burner lets you add extra cooking space where and when you need it most. It's perfect to use for the holidays, during home renovations, when entertaining or for pot lucks. You can even take it on vacation. The burner fits anywhere and is easy to carry. The smooth ceramic coating on the 6" diameter cast iron cooking plates is nonstick, making cleanup a snap. The burner works with ceramic cookware and many other types of cookware material, even aluminum (which will not work on induction cookers). The burner is great for woks, Dutch ovens, frying pans, kettles and more. Rubber feet securely grip flat surfaces to help prevent sliding, and the power indicator light shows you when the cooktop is plugged in and ready to use.
